BEHDINAN – Celebrating the Newroz Day of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan and the peoples of the Middle East, HPG and YJA Star guerrillas stated that they will carry the freedom struggle to the highest level in 2023.
HPG guerrilla Rojhilat Qehreman: First of all, I congratulate the Newroz Day of Rêber Apo and all peoples. I commemorate all martyrs of the revolution in the person of Mazlum Doğan with gratitude and bow respectfully before their memories. I repeat our promise of victory to them. 2023 Newroz will be the year when Rêber Apo’s physical freedom will be achieved. Once again, Happy Newroz to all peoples. We will achieve victory with the spirit of Newroz.
YJA Star guerrilla Tekoşîn Cûdî: We are going through a very difficult time. It is a process in which great resistances are experienced and great prices are paid. A relentless struggle is being waged against the enemy with the spirit of resistance of the Mazlum Doğans. The resistance of the guerrilla showed that the fighting spirit of the oppressed and the Kemals will never disappear. We have a claim to take our struggle to the highest level in 2023. Because it is time to offer a free life to Rêber Apo and our people. As YJA Star guerrillas, we fight and fight against the enemy on this basis. In this process, we are ready to fulfill all our duties requested from us. It is Rêber Apo who enabled us to reach such an awareness about the meaning and importance of Newroz. As women, we salute Rêber Apo’s resistance. There has been a relentless struggle for 50 years against the enemy who wants to destroy the Kurdish people. Rêber Apo is leading this struggle.
YJA Star guerrilla Rûken Kobanê: The year 2023 will be the biggest year of struggle and resistance for us. I hope that 2023 Newroz will bring freedom to all the peoples of the Middle East and hope for our people who were victims of the earthquake. We share the pain of our earthquake victims. We celebrate the Newroz Day of all our martyr mothers. The mothers of our comrades are also our mothers. They must know that the blood of our comrades will not remain on the ground. No one should doubt that we will take revenge on the enemy.
