WAN – Wan continue to shout the slogans of “Bijî Serok Apo”.
The area in Wan, the center of Newroz celebrations in the Serhat region, was mostly filled. Thousands of people began to flock to the Newroz Park, located on the outskirts of Wan Castle, in the morning hours. Despite the rainy weather, thousands of people from rural neighborhoods and districts marched to the area with the slogans “Bê serok jiyan nabe”, “Bijî Serok Apo”, “Bijî berxwedana gerila” and “Bijî berxwedana Kobanê”.
The youth of Wan entered the area with the banner “Ciwan ber bi rojê we dimesin (Youth walking towards the sun) and formed towers. Young people unveiled Leader Apo’s posters.
