NEWS CENTER – Yesterday, hundreds of young members of Tevgera Xwendekaran (Student Movement) from all over Northern and Eastern Syria attended a meeting held in Hesekê to discuss the problems and solutions of students in the region and to develop their own organization.
Mazlum Kobanê, General Commander of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), who took part in the Rojava student movement during his youth and played an active role in the revolution process, was present at the meeting. Kobanê touched upon the importance of quality education and the role of young people studying from primary school to university. In the meeting, he also explained how the student movement took an active role in the construction of the revolution, and also touched upon the importance of organizing along the line of Leader APO in order to create an autonomous system and protect the revolution.
After the Divan speech, the students were given the right to speak and the problems they encountered in their daily lives were criticized and evaluated and suggestions were made for the solution of these problems. The meeting was organized to bring together students from all regions of Northern and Eastern Syria and to develop a strong relationship between those present for the development of the student movement.
