HASEKE – The funeral ceremony of 9 YAT fighters who died in a helicopter accident on March 15 in South Kurdistan is going on in Hesekê. In these moments, the letters of all 9 martyrs are read and handed over to the families, after you, the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazlum Ebdi Akhafi. Mazlum Ebdi expressed his condolences to all the families of the martyrs and the families of 9 YAT fighters and said that they are proud of them as friends of the martyrs. Ebdi addressed the families of 9 fighters and said: “Be successful with your children”
Mazlum Ebdi, in the continuation of his speech, expressed the following: “On behalf of the SDF Command, we greet all the people, our friends who are here today and share our pain. During the martyrdom event, many of our friends stood with us and helped us to bring our martyrs to this point. We also thank them. Today, we are honoring the YAT commanders of Kobani and 8 of his heroic friends. 9 heroes of the Rojava revolution, the leaders of the SDF and our people who led the war on terror are dying; 9 brave and self-sacrificing young people. On this occasion, like all our martyrs, they became examples and leaders for us, and strengthened our bond. On this basis, we will strengthen our connection. We will definitely succeed in the work they were involved in.”
CALL FOR YOUTH
Mazlum Ebdi said that they will protect the achievements of the revolution of Rojava Kurdistan and the people of North and East Syria until the end and continued: “We will protect our military institutions until the end so that our love for SDF and all our institutions will never fail. That QSD will never fail. With this painful occasion, in the presence of the martyrs of the young people of our people, we call on all the young people and regional organizations to join our YAT force and defend the achievements of our revolution against the enemies.”
``THIS FLAG WILL BE HIGH UNTIL VICTORY”
Mazlum Ebdi ended his speech with these words: “The flag of Martyr Shervan and his 8 friends will never fall and it will be in the hands of their friends. This flag will be raised until victory. Martyrs don’t die.”
The commanders of the anti-terror forces also participated in the preparation ceremony and the members of the PYD Co-Chairmanship Board, Foza Yusuf and Salih Muslim. The Martyrs’ Ceremony continues at Serdem Stadium in Hesekë with the participation of tens of thousands of people.
