“Within the framework of the attacks of the genocidal Turkish state, which aimed to destroy the freedom hopes of our people and bring the genocide policy to a conclusion by liquidating the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, an intense war process took place in many areas of Kurdistan, especially in the Medya Defense Areas. During this war, the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrillas fought selflessly from Avaşîn to Zap, from Metîna to Bakurê Kurdistan and managed to frustrate the raw dreams of the enemy. Our comrades Eser, Şoreş, Raman, Dildar and Zana, who did not allow the enemy to pass by making great sacrifices during the intense war process, were martyred on different dates in the enemy attacks.
We extend our condolences to all our patriotic people of Kurdistan, especially to the valuable families of our comrades Eser, Şoreş, Raman, Dildar and Zana, who joined the guerrilla ranks from all over Kurdistan and took part in the freedom struggle of our people and set an example to all Kurdistan youth with their self-sacrificing stances and their lives full of struggle.

Our comrade Eser was born in a patriotic family in the Kerboran district of Merdîn, which went down in the history of our people’s resistance by adding his most valiant sons to our freedom struggle. The participation and martyrdom of her close relatives and his living in a region with patriotic characteristics such as Kerboran naturally enabled our comrade Eser to get to know our party PKK from an early age. As a young Kurdish woman, she deeply felt the enemy oppression of our people and the genocidal attacks she faced, and she thought that she should definitely take a stand against it. Again, she felt a great anger against the traditional approaches that were imposed on women in society and that did not exceed the status of slavery. Our comrade, who knows very well that the best attitude against both the slavery status imposed on women and hostile tendencies is to struggle, she focused on the form of struggle for a long time and determined to join the guerrilla ranks as a necessity. Our comrade, who consciously chose to join the guerrilla, joined our ranks in 2014 from the Botan field.
After working as a guerrilla in the Botan area for a short time, Comrade Eser, who moved to the Medya Defense Zones, received her first training and quickly adapted to the mountain and guerrilla life. She consciously approached the issues of how the revolutionary march should be in the guerrilla ranks, and never accepted an ordinary march for herself. Our comrade, who questions his whole life and personality against the reality of the Leadership, has always taken this method as a basis and compared his participation and pace with the reality of the Leadership and martyrs. She never considered herself sufficient for this, and always sought ways to participate more. After joining the guerrilla ranks, our comrade Eser went to the Kobanê area against the attacks carried out by the ISIS gangs against our people, joined the historical Kobanê Resistance. Our comrade participated in the campaign to expel ISIS mercenaries from Kobanê and the surrounding villages, stood out with her brave and self-sacrificing qualities during the war and set an example for all her comrades. She participated in the war process unreservedly and was injured once in her foot. However, Comrade Eser recovered herself in a short time and took her place in the fight, was involved in new warrior training activities. In these works, she took care of the training of our comrades who had just joined our Party ranks, and played an important role in adapting them to the guerrilla struggle and becoming Apoist militants.
Our comrade Eser has been extremely successful in educating her comrades who have just joined the guerrilla ranks and conveying his experiences to them in this work, which she stated as my first action. At the same time, she considered it as a work to be conscientious, and believed that one should apply what she teaches to her comrades, and that she should not break from the theory-practice integrity. For this reason, our comrade Eser, deeply questioned the responsibilities that this process put on the Apoist militants, compared it with the reality of the Leadership, and concluded that she was incomplete as a YJA Star guerrilla. Our comrade was extremely modest in questioning her current level of participation, decided that she should expand her struggle more, and became involved in Hêzên Taybet’s work. Hêzên Taybet has come to the forefront with her natural personality, hardworking, self-sacrificing and honest features in her works and has managed to gain a place in the hearts of all her comrades. Our comrade Eser, who adds her own color and morale to the environment she was in, had succeeded in fulfilling her pioneering role as a YJA Star guerrilla. With these features, our comrade work has considered sacrifice as a way of life and has managed to live every moment of it according to this principle. We reiterate the promise of our comrade Eser, who was martyred in the enemy attack that took place while she was on duty in the Zap area in November 2021, that we will realize the dream of a free Leadership.

Our comrade Şoreş was born in a patriotic family in the city of Kelar, in the Germiyan region of Bashure Kurdistan. Due to the patriotic nature of his family, he grew up with a patriotic culture and was sensitive to the genocidal attacks of our people all over Kurdistan. For this, first of all, he became a peshmerga in order to fulfill his patriotic feelings and responsibilities towards our people. Our comrade, who has been a peshmerga for a long time, has brought to awareness better the enemy policies carried out in Kurdistan and the submissive line of the forces that should defend our people against these policies. When ISIS gangs started to carry out massacres against our people, the forces claiming to be the protectors of our people left our people face to face with attacks, causing great anger in our comrade Şoreş. At the same time, the resistance developed under the leadership of our party PKK, from Shengal to Maxmur, from Kirkuk to Rojavayê Kurdistan, attracted the attention and interest of our comrade Şoreş. For this reason, he started to research the PKK more, and as he learned, he became aware that our people’s hope for freedom lies in the reality of the PKK and Leader Apo. Our comrade Şoreş, whose heart beats to respond to our people’s demands for freedom, has decided to join the guerrilla ranks with great determination and a revolutionary move. Our comrade, who joined the guerrilla ranks in 2014, became aware of the importance of the Kurdistan mountains for our people and became integrated with the mountains and guerrilla life in a short time. Our comrade Şoreş has made very well aware that the mountains of Kurdistan are the most important struggle area of our people, and that a freedom struggle that does not rely on the mountains has no chance of success. For this, he aimed to return to his essence with the training he received in the guerrilla ranks, and by achieving this, he set an example for all Kurdish youth. Our comrade Şoreş, who has a certain knowledge in the military sense, also learned the guerrilla warfare style through the training he received, and deepened in guerrillaism with great enthusiasm and curiosity. He has also improved himself in the philosophy of the Leadership and has taken important steps on the way to free Kurdishness. Our comrade Şoreş, who moved to the Xakurkê area after the training process, moved to the Cîlo area after gaining his first practical experience here. He worked as a guerrilla in the field of Cîlo for about 4 years, and with the vital and military experiences he gained during this time, he managed to become a competent guerrilla commander. It has always been in action against the destruction-oriented attacks developed by the colonialist Turkish state in the Cîlo area, and has dealt heavy blows to the invading forces with its actions. After his successful practice in the field of Cîlo, he moved to the field of Avaşîn, increased the tempo of the struggle, and made it his main goal to correctly adopt and achieve the term’s duties. Our comrade Şoreş, who stayed in the Avaşîn area for a short time, later moved to the Zap area. Our comrade Şoreş, who shared his military experiences in the field of Zap with his comrades, he has succeeded in claiming his duties on the right basis, both as a commander and as a comrade. Our comrade Şoreş, who has made the foresight required of a commander a characteristic of his personality, has always kept himself and his comrades with whom he fights ready for a possible invasion attack. He took all the necessary measures for this and was one of our comrades who responded to the invasion attacks launched by the invading Turkish army in 2021. From the first day of the invasion until the moment he reached martyrdom, he responded to the attacks of the enemy with great courage and determination, and was one of our comrades who made the Zap area a fortress of resistance by striking the invaders whenever he got the chance. The simplicity of his companionship, With his humbleness in life and his selfless and courageous participation on the battlefield, he has become the best example for all Kurdish youth who want to live with dignity as well as for all his comrades. Our comrade Raman was born in a patriotic family in the city of Sine in Rojhilatê Kurdistan. The fact that he had to work in many jobs at a young age due to the poor financial situation of his family caused him to meet the phenomenon of labor early. Learning the sanctity of the values created with labor at a young age has affected his whole life and has succeeded in creating himself with effort. Our comrade, who has succeeded in being sensitive to his environment from an early age, can never make sense of and accept the colonial situation our people are in. He thought that our people, like all the peoples of the world, had the right to live freely in his country, and he accumulated tremendous anger against the colonialist and genocide-based policies that he was exposed to every day. By not tolerating the situation of our people since their youth, turned towards the pursuit of struggle. Our comrade, who knows many organizations and parties that claim to fight for the freedom of Kurdistan, did not accept the partial and narrow approaches of these organizations and parties and believed that our people could only be liberated through a struggle aimed at the freedom of the whole of Kurdistan. Comrade Raman, who was impressed by the fight against ISIS fascism led by our party PKK, and by our comrades who were martyred by walking on the enemy without hesitation in this struggle, believed that only with the PKK, all our people could achieve the freedom they had dreamed of for centuries. Although he had some physical difficulties at first in the face of the difficulties of guerrilla life, he managed to overcome these difficulties thanks to the help and determination of his comrades. He started to lead and lead many of his comrades who had just joined the ranks of freedom like himself. Our comrade, who is aware of the need to respond to the intense attacks that our people and our movement have been subjected to, has become a competent guerrilla by successfully completing his military training with a high tempo and an uncountable participation. DILDAR ROJAVA
Our comrade Dildar was born in the city of Raqqa, in North-East Syria, in a family belonging to the patriotic Şêxî tribe. The family and close relatives of Comrade Dildar have been influenced by our struggle since the 1990s, when the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle, which developed under the leadership of our party PKK, and joined the struggle in the ranks of the Party. In the early 1990s, his uncle’s children joined the guerrilla ranks, and our comrade Martyr Salih was martyred in the ranks of the ARGK in 1992. Growing up in such a patriotic and valuable family and environment helped our comrade Dildar to get to know our party PKK closely. Comrade Dildar had a deep impact, especially when his uncle’s children joined the guerrilla ranks, the martyrdom experienced, and most importantly, the holiness of these comrades by our family and our people. Comrade Dildar, who studied in the system schools for 13 years and had the opportunity to live comfortably within the system, caused great anger at the massacres carried out by ISIS gangs against our people during the attack on Kobanê, and thereupon, he took his place in the resistance positions. He was injured once in the eye during the war, but with great determination and ambition to fight, he took his place in the positions again and continued to fight shoulder to shoulder with his comrades. He succeeded in fulfilling his duties and responsibilities as a Kurdish youth for the freedom of our people by taking part in the Kobanê Resistance, which represents a historical process for our people and all humanity and will never be forgotten in the memory of humanity. Our comrade Dildar, who served in many fields even after the historical Kobanê Resistance, had the chance to meet dozens of Apoist militants, who he witnessed one-on-one for his heroism in the ranks of the struggle and who became martyrs by fighting for the freedom of our people, after the defeat of the ISIS gangs. It has decided to join the guerrilla ranks in order to keep the memories of all our martyrs of the revolution, especially these comrades alive, and to protect the values for which they fought at the expense of their lives.
When he joined the guerrilla ranks, he was particularly impressed by the mountains of Kurdistan and the sacred guerrilla life created with great difficulty. Again, the strong militant stance created by this difficult life and the disinterested comradeship relations were other issues that attracted his attention and influenced him. Our comrade Dildar has also made a selfless effort since the first day he joined in order to reach this sacred guerrilla life and the comradeship relations created by this life. Our comrade, who has significant military experience, wanted to learn about guerrilla warfare and the tactics of the new era. In this sense, he devoted himself entirely to education, received a reward for his efforts and efforts in a short time, and became a competent Apoist militant. At the same time, it was based on deepening in the Leadership ideology and reached a strong militant personality. Our comrade Dildar, who moved to the Zap area in 2021, when the colonial Turkish state developed extensive attacks against our Movement and wanted to achieve results with all kinds of inhumane methods, showed his fighting and war style in the first days of the war. Our comrade, who waged an uncalculated and self-sacrificing struggle against the enemy, took his place in many actions in which heavy blows were struck against the enemy. With his self-sacrificing, brave and unwavering participation in these actions, he not only eased the burdens of his comrades, but also became a source of strength for them. Because of this, he earned the respect of all his comrades, whom he knew and did not know. Her ripper style on the battlefield, Our comrade Dildar, who succeeded in being an exemplary militant throughout his life with his humble comradeship and persistent stance on Apoist militancy, achieved martyrdom by fulfilling his duty as a leading commander of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign. Our comrade Zana was born in Hesekê, Rojavayê Kurdistan, in a patriotic family. Many participation and martyrdom in the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle from his close circle enabled our comrade Zana to hear about our party PKK from a very young age. In 2010-2011, when the Rojava Freedom Revolution began to develop and the first organizational work was carried out, he began to get to know our Movement more closely. In these processes, our comrade Zana gained her first organizational experience by taking part in youth work. With the development of the Rojava Freedom Revolution, our comrade has also been involved in self-defense activities and took part in the defense of our people. Afterwards, he took part in the military field, but in different duties, approached every task he took on the basis of great seriousness and certain success and was successful. Although he had a successful practice in the revolution, his face and heart were always turned towards the mountains of Kurdistan and the guerrilla. Our comrade Zana, who wants to be one of the heroes in the guerrilla stories he heard as a child, met with the mountains of Kurdistan, which he was very curious about, and joined the guerrilla ranks in 2017, the guarantee and hope of our people’s free life.
Although he had a certain military and organizational experience, he received training as new warriors to adapt to mountain conditions. With his willing and enthusiastic participation in this training process, he adapted to mountain and guerrilla life in a short time. Through the trainings he received, he experienced a deep concentration on free living and brought the truth of the Leadership, martyrs and the Party to consciousness. On this basis, he chose to be a good comrade to our Leadership as the greatest goal, and he spent all his life for this purpose. Although he had certain military experience, he participated in specialization trainings to deepen in guerrilla warfare tactics, and with his success in these trainings, he managed to become a competent guerrilla ready to implement the tasks of the new period. In 2018, when the enemy attacks were most intense, he moved to the Zap area with great determination, He participated in the revolutionary work here. He was angry when the enemy attacked our people all over our country and wanted to occupy the free areas, and he believed that the revenge of the martyrs should be taken. For this reason, he wanted to fulfill his duties as an Apoist militant and participated in many actions against the enemy in the Zap area. With his success in these actions, he gave confidence to his comrades and was deemed worthy of the task of team commander, the main executor of our new era war. As a promising commander, he took care of everything from the training of his comrades, with whom he fought, to their performance in the war, and made a tremendous effort so that they could become a leading cadre. Our comrade Zana, who had a unique effort in the preparation of war tunnels in the Zap area, deeply believed in the war tunnel tactic, which later became a resistance fortress, and worked day and night for this.
