RAQQA – In Raqqa, residents of the city, civil organizations and members of Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger took action. Activists took to the streets for the physical freedom of Leader Apo. The rally, which started in front of the General Assembly, turned into a rally in the Fire Department. In the action, posters of Leader Apo were carried and slogans such as “Bê serok jiyan nabe”, “No to international conspiracy” and “Freedom for Leader Apo” were chanted.
Religious Institution Member Ali El Salih read a statement on behalf of the residents of the city. In the statement, it was stated that Leader Apo’s ideas directly affected the Syrian structures, which, according to him, were organized based on the idea of national democracy and the brotherhood of peoples and established their own autonomous and civil administrations. The statement stated that the isolation is against international law.
At the end of the action, a call was made to ensure the physical freedom of Leader Apo and to end the isolation.
