The statement said, “In such an earthquake, where the AKP-MHP government has seized all the means of the peoples of Kurdistan and Turkey and developed a regime of plunder and destruction, it is necessary to increase the solidarity with the people with the spirit of mobilization.”

“Our people have been faced with another great disaster due to the earthquakes centered in Pazarcık and Elbistan. As a result of the genocide, theft, plunder and extortion policy of the colonial Turkish state, thousands of our people lost their lives, tens of thousands were injured, and the fate of hundreds of thousands is still unknown. We wish our condolences to the families of our people who lost their lives and to all peoples of Kurdistan, and a speedy recovery to the injured.
‘NOT EARTHQUAKE, THE STATE KILLED’
Dear patriotic youth of Kurdistan and all peoples; The truth should be well known that it was the state, not the earthquake, that killed our people. In the past, in the Wan earthquake of 2011, it should never be forgotten how the fascist Turkish state turned the earthquake experienced by the people of Kurdistan into a disaster. The Turkish state and its fascist section, which adopted the fascist discourse that the best Kurd is a dead Kurd, systematically condemned the people of Kurdistan to death, on the other hand, they bombarded the people of Kurdistan with private and psychological warfare in the most immoral way, even in the event of a disaster. It is necessary to increase the solidarity with the people with the spirit of mobilization in such an earthquake, where the colonialist plundering state, the genocidal TC and the fascist AKP-MHP government, seized all the means of the peoples of Kurdistan and Turkey and developed a regime of plunder and destruction. It is a fundamental duty to go to the disaster areas with the spirit of mobilization in this difficult period of our people, with the fact and awareness of being the pioneer of the people, especially the university youth, for more than 40 years, and that the most fundamental responsibility in this matter falls to the youth.
‘THE YOUTH SHOULD DO THEIR THING, THE PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE LEFT TO THE mercy of the fascist state’
As the most basic patriotic duty, they should stand by our people and share their pain, and should do their part duly by standing by our people in cold and hunger. For this, all patriotic Kurdistan youth, especially university youth, should actively mobilize with all their organized power from the areas where they are located with a sense of patriotism and awareness, without leaving our people at the mercy of the colonial state and its fascist institutions. On this basis, as the Kurdistan youth movement Komalên Ciwan, we call on the youth of Kurdistan to mobilize against the earthquake disaster by taking a stance to stand by the people, share their pain and meet their vital needs. It is the most urgent task for us to try to heal all kinds of wounds with our own strength, without leaving our people at the mercy of the anti-Kurdish genocidalists.
The patriotic Kurdistan youth should incite all their anger and sense of rebellion to fight together and with the people against these massacres and massacres by the colonial Turkish state and the AKP-MHP fascist government, and they should use the practices of developing this earthquake disaster as a part of the Kurdish genocide as an excuse for protest. The fascist government’s attempt to normalize this situation by ending all the reactions and anger of the people with discourses such as a natural disaster, fate or accident is desperately trying to hide its own responsibility. On the other hand, the youth of Kurdistan should not remain silent to the fascist Turkish regime, which wants to deepen the destruction of our people in the earthquake disaster with anti-Kurdish policies, and develop a struggle where the fascist genocidalists will experience the main earthquake. On this basis, all the patriotic youth of Kurdistan should be mobilized.
