BEHDINAN – HPG Press Center stated the following regarding the martyred guerrillas:
“The invading Turkish army launched an operation in the Besta area of Botan on January 21 with the support of the contras. Our pioneering YJA Star forces, which took action to deal a blow to the enemy attack, took the invaders and the contras under control, and on January 22, firstly, they targeted the counter called Nimet Encü and punished them with an assassination tactic. The cowardly enemy and fierce counterattacks, who could not afford to fight hand-to-hand with our Bouncer YJA Star forces, heavily bombarded the area where our comrades are with their war technique. In this bombardment that lasted for hours, two of our comrades were martyred. Our forces hit the enemy force under control by targeting it with sabotage tactic this time, while 2 invaders were punished, 1 high-ranking invader was injured. Our four comrades fought the invaders during the 22nd and 23rd of January,
Our women comrades, who fought selflessly under the command of Comrade Rojbin, the pioneer and self-sacrificing commander of YJA Star, once again demonstrated the indomitable will of the Free Kurdish Woman, her great faith, her passion for freedom, professional women’s guerrillaism and women’s tactical intelligence with their resistance. In this operation, Nimet Encü, who became a traitor to his people and became a fierce counterattack in the hands of the enemy, was punished. Our female comrades also showed their anger against the collaborative and treacherous elements in Kurdistan by firing their first bullets into the heart of the treacherous counter-head.
Our pioneer and self-sacrificing YJA Star forces, who showed an epic resistance under the command of Comrade Rojbin in Besta in harsh winter conditions, went down in the history of struggle as the honor of all Kurdistan people and free women. We reveal the identity information of our comrades Rojbîn, Delîla, Sıla, Nûda and Dirok, and we state that we will share the detailed identity information of our sixth comrade who was martyred later. We promise to achieve the purpose of realizing the meeting of Free Leadership and Free Women in Free Kurdistan and to keep the memories of these heroic comrades alive. Our people of Gever, whose high patriotic feelings are always at the forefront, have never accepted the occupation and invaders on our country Kurdistan and have always been in a struggle. When there was no opportunity for active resistance, it knitted the resistance with great patience, and when it found the opportunity to resist, it poured into the ranks of the struggle like a flood. For this reason, the Gever district has always been an important serhildan center, and our Gever people have taken their place in the history of Kurdistan as serhildan people. Again, with its attitude of owning Kurdish culture and language, it gave the necessary lesson to the invaders by nullifying the assimilation and genocide policies implemented by the genocidal Turkish state for a century. With the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle, which developed under the leadership of our party PKK, our Gever people, who took their place in the ranks of the struggle, added many valuable children to the ranks of the struggle with their own hands, and fulfilled their patriotic duties perfectly. Berçem Cilo, Welat Herinki, Rizgar Gever, Egîd Civyan and our Gever people, who welcomed countless valiant commanders from the leaders of the Werxelê Resistance to Çavrê Kamuran, will always continue to lead thanks to these pioneering militants.
Our comrade Rojbîn, who was born in a patriotic family and in an area with a strong social texture like Gever, undoubtedly succeeded in representing such valuable characteristics of the Gever people in his personality. Our guerrilla forces, which started to show their effect all over Kurdistan with their resistance since the beginning of the 1990s, have given our people a hope for freedom as well as terrorizing the enemy. Comrade Rojbin got to know the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla in this process and became attached to her with great admiration. She saw the dream and hope of a free tomorrow in the guerrilla, and she wanted to be a part of this hope. Believing that this is how our people can avenge the atrocities and massacres suffered by our people, our comrade Rojbin decided to join the guerrilla ranks at a young age. Comrade Rojbîn joined the guerrilla ranks in 1996, one of the most intense periods of the war against the invading Turkish army, soon saw the reality of the enemy and the difficulty of the struggle, and brought it to consciousness. It has been aware of the necessity of a willfull and determined participation in difficult conditions, and has prepared itself according to the most difficult conditions of struggle. Despite the limited training she received, she developed herself militarily and gained ideological competence in a short time with er concise participation. For this reason, she was always known and loved as a standing comrade. From 1996 to 2003, when she joined the guerrilla ranks, she carried out guerrilla activities in many areas from Garê to the Zagros, from Xinêrê to Qendil. During this time, she tried to strengthen herself militarily and ideologically. In a short time, she saw the reality of the enemy and the difficulty of the struggle and brought it to consciousness.
Our comrade Rojbin, who became very angry after the enemy captured our Leader with an international conspiracy, took a stand against the liquidationist tendency that tried to take our Movement from within. She kept her loyalty to Leader Apo above everything else and never allowed anything to come between hier and the Leadership. At a time when liquidationist mentalities were trying to marginalize the guerrilla, our comrade Rojbin turned to Bakurê Kurdistan in 2003 and headed for the Dêrsîm field to fight against the invading Turkish state. Our comrade Rojbîn, who was been practicing in the field of Dêrsîm for about seven years, has come to the fore with her courage, self-sacrifice and labourer characteristics, has become an exemplary YJA Star militant and commander. She took part in effective actions against the enemy in the Dersîm area, It has fulfilled its pioneering role with its participation and success in these actions. Our comrade Rojbin, who witnessed the martyrdom of many of her comrades during the seven-year practical process, knew the purpose of each comrade of martyrs as her own, and carried their memories in her heart and based on a stronger participation. Comrade Rojbîn, who gained great military experience with the practice of Zorlu Dêrsîm, quickly became a commander and began to shoulder her revolutionary duties more.
Returning to the Media Defense Areas in 2010, our comrade Rojbîn participated in the training at the Martyr Bêrîtan Free Women’s Academy in order to analyze the seven-year practice of Dêrsîm, to correct the missing points in practical terms, and to deepen in the Ideology of Women’s Freedom. Comrade Rojbîn, who was happy to be in a unique environment and to receive education with only her female comrades for the first time in her revolutionary life, took this opportunity very well and wanted to both deepen in the line of free women and embrace her new term duties more. Sharing the same educational environment with young and inexperienced friends, our comrade Rojbîn shared her vital, organizational and military experiences with her comrades and fulfilled her pioneering role in this sense. Experienced deep concentrations on the Leadership and the PKK reality during the education process, she determined that the PKK is the representative of humanity’s hope for a free future. She also stated that living with the Leader is possible by feeling the Leader, and she made an effort to live every moment with the Leader. She was deeply conscious of the fact that she could only remain true to her childhood dream of meeting the Leader in Amed, only by living the Leadership. After successfully completing the training process, she undertook important duties for the most accurate practice of our Revolutionary People’s War, and by successfully fulfilling these duties, she clearly demonstrated her approach to the term duties. Our comrade Rojbin was aware that the Revolutionary People’s War is only possible with the leading commanders, has been taken as an example by all his comrades as an integrated commander from his vital stance to her military stance.
After practicing for a while in Medya Defense Zones, she turned to Botan in order to respond to the enemy’s genocidal policies towards our Movement and our people; Egîd, Azime, Zelal, Rahime, Adil, Gulbahar, Delal and Egîd returned to the place of the Civyans. Our comrade Rojbîn, who moved to Botan as a member of the provincial command in 2016, organized the resistance against the enemy attacks moment by moment with her participation in the form of a sacrifice, and proved that no matter how the enemy attacks, she would always insist on fighting with the Apoist self-sacrificing spirit. The enemy’s perpetration of massacres against our people in the Self-Government Resistance was the reason for great acts of revenge, and in this sense, she became the planner and coordinator of many actions developed in the Botan area. She personally organized and carried out the successful revolutionary move on July 15, 2016, especially in the Sêrt Self-Government Resistance, and took a large part of the province of Sêrt under control, but this revolutionary move was not on the agenda because it coincided with the dubious coup attempt that took place on the same day. Our comrade Rojbin, whose humble and populist side is at the forefront, undertook important duties as the YPS commander and gained the love and respect of our Botan people during her struggle in the Botan field. Our Comrade Rojbîn, who has a deep concentration and effort especially for the success of our Revolutionary People’s War, has kept the hopes of freedom of Mehmet Tunç, Sêvê Demir, Pakize Nayır, Fatma Uyar and Zeryans alive with their struggle. Our comrade Rojbin, who has great faith in victory, has struggled and laboured day and night for this. For this reason, she has always been an exemplary commander for her comrades. Our comrade Rojbin preserved her uncompromising stance against the enemy until her last breath, reached martyrdom on January 22, 2023 by selflessly resisting against the developing enemy attacks. As her comrades, we will always be proud to fight under the command of a commander like Rojbîn Dêrsîm.

Our party, the PKK, has resurrected the hope of freedom of our people and created an honorable life in Kurdistan and a tradition of uninterrupted resistance despite the most difficult conditions. Our patriotic people welcomed the struggle of the PKK, which developed under the leadership of Leader Apo, with serhildans in Kurdistan and participated in the victory march with great enthusiasm. Our ancient Botan people, the resistance center of Kurdistan, were among the first to embrace our struggle. The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla took root in the lands of Botan, developed a historical resistance against the invaders and spread to all areas of Kurdistan. Comrade Delîla, who was born in the village of Bêceh in Sirnex, Qileban, grew up in a patriotic family devoted to this culture of resistance created by our party PKK. Our comrade, who belongs to the patriotic and resisting Goyi tribe. Our party, which has raised the line of honor and freedom against the betrayal and collaboration imposed by the invaders in Kurdistan, has had the chance to know the PKK since childhood. Our comrade, a member of the valuable Encü family, who had many martyrs in the ranks of our party PKK and fought without hesitation to realize their dreams of freedom, grew up listening to the heroic stories of our martyred comrades. Comrade Delila, who developed a strong character by imprinting Kurdistani values on her personality in the Goyî tribe, where strong social ties and female leadership made their impact in the sacred lands of Kurdistan, the center of the Neolithic Revolution, witnessed the brutal attacks against our people at a young age and had a great anger against the colonial Turkish state. Our people, who were impoverished by the colonialists and, in Leader Apo’s words, “left without Nan in the homeland of Nan”, had to take great risks every day in order to survive. The martyrdom of 34 Kurdish youth from Roboski by the invading Turkish army on the night of December 28, 2011, enabled our comrade Delila to see and recognize the reality of the colonial state concretely.
The culture of resistance she received from her family and patriotic environment and the pursuit of a free life enabled our comrade Delîla to develop a fighting personality, and by joining the ranks of the PKK, she developed a determination to follow the philosophy of Leader Apo. Our comrade, who closely observed the assimilation policies of the colonialist Turkish state, which tries to de-identify our people by breaking away from their roots and on this basis especially targeting the Kurdish youth, has taken it as a basis to transfer his reaction to the organized struggle. The attacks developed by the colonial Turkish state in 2015 on the basis of liquidating the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, the embodiment of our people’s will for freedom, was the last point for our comrade Delila. Our comrade, who walked for two days with a relative and did not give up despite all the difficulties, reached the guerrilla areas and joined the guerrilla ranks.
Our comrade, who joined the life he longed for with great excitement and enthusiasm, quickly became integrated with the guerrilla life with his pure essence, natural features and strong will. Our comrade, who had the strongest characteristics of the insurgent Kurdish woman, has put the occupiers to account for all the attacks against our people, especially the Roboski massacre, as her main goal, and within this framework, she has put forth great effort to become a professional guerrilla. Taking the name of our comrade Martyr Delîla Meyaser, whom she grew up with and whose militant personality was greatly admired, she relentlessly dedicated her whole life to our struggle for revolution in order to take the struggle of all our martyrs to victory in the person of Martyr Delila. Our comrade Delîla, who carried out her first guerrilla practice in the field of Heftanî, turned into a pioneer militant in a short time. She has been an exemplary PKK and PAJK militants who create confidence in every environment she was in. Our comrade Delîla devoted all her time to concentration in order to deepen in the democratic, ecological and women’s liberation philosophy developed by Leader Apo, had a great development in a short time. She had become competent in many fields, is based on fulfilling all the tasks that our Party has set before him with superior success, and this effort has been strongly reflected in his practice. Our comrade Delîla, pioneered in every environment she was in as a young woman, took on important responsibilities by walking in the footsteps of Martyr Berîtan and became a commander in a short time and successfully served our Party and our people; she has been a pioneering YJA Star commander. She gained great experience with the successful practices she participated in, as she specialized the in Democratic Modernity Guerrillaism. She has constantly improved herself to carry out guerrilla activities in Bakur Kurdistan and has always insisted on this demand.
In 2019, our comrade Delila returned to Botan, where she was born and raised, the center of guerrillaism, as a pioneer PKK militant armed with the philosophy of Leader Apo. Our comrade Delila, never allowed the occupiers, betrayal and collaborationist to live on and carried out guerrilla activities in the ancient Botan lands with great enthusiasm. Our leading commanders, Martyr Mehmet Goyî, Özgür Goyî, Berxwedan, Bêrîtan, Zîlan and Sorxwîn, who took important roles in our struggle and served the revolution selflessly, increased the resistance legacy of our comrades. Our comrade Delila dealt heavy blows to the invaders with her comrades in Botan, she has always been an exemplary PKK militant with her strong comradeship as well as in his war. Our comrade Delila, who reflects the sacrifice, war and life stance of Sara Tolhildan Goyî and Rûken Zelal on her life and war, became the name of resistance and victory against betrayal and collaborationism, and reached martyrdom by fighting until the last bullet. Known for its thousands of years of ancient culture, Wan, one of the leading centers of our struggle, has been engaged in a relentless struggle against fascism since the first days of our liberation struggle when it emerged and became popular. Our struggle for freedom has rekindled the hopes of our people for freedom, and our people have united around our Movement by sacrificing thousands of their distinguished children for this cause. Our people, who did not compromise their resistance character in this period, as before, even though they became the target of the invading Turkish state due to this honorable stance, they increased their struggle and responded to every attack. Our comrade Nûda was born in the Şax district of Wan, one of our resistance centers. Comrade Nûda, who came to the fore with her unlimited support for the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle and grew intertwined with the resistance culture of Wan, which has turned into a city of serhildans, has been one of our comrades who had the chance to get to know our struggle from an early age. The participation of many people from the family and close circle of our comrade, who is a member of the patriotic Ertushi tribe, in our people’s struggle for honor and freedom has increased our comrade’s desire to get to know our party’s PKK and Leader Apo philosophy. The fact that she was brought up in a working family enabled our comrade to come to the fore with her working characteristics. Seeing the fact that women, who led the biggest and most effective revolution of humanity, are ignored in the society and their will is broken, the search for our comrade has increased more and this search has brought our comrade Nûda together with our party PKK. As an honorable Kurdish woman, our comrade Nûda, who believes that our people’s dreams of freedom will come true with a stronger and fiercer struggle, joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla in 2012.
Our comrade, who puts deepening in Leader Apo’s philosophy and the Ideology of Women’s Freedom at the center of her revolutionary life, devoted herself to learning with great enthusiasm and made a great breakthrough in a short time. After receiving her first guerrilla training in the field of Metîna, she quickly put what she learned into practice. Our comrade has practiced in many fields, especially in Metîna, Heftanîn and Qendil, has become an experienced and pioneering YJA Star guerrilla. Our comrade Nûda went to the Maxmur and Kirkuk areas with her comrades, waged an effective struggle against the genocidal and inhuman attacks of ISIS gangs to commit genocide against our people. She saved our people from the genocidal attacks and returned to the free mountains of Kurdistan, which she loved so much, together with her comrades. Our comrade Dîrok was born in a patriotic family in the Dihê district of Sêrt, where our legendary commander Egîd (Mahsum Korkmaz) first hit the invaders and reversed the wicked history of our people full of invasions. Since his childhood, he grew up listening to the sufferings, defeats, plunder and occupations of our people from his elders. This situation caused great anger against the enemy in our comrade Dirok. Again, the heroic story of our pioneer commander Egîd’s historical departure has also led our comrade Dirok to always keep our people’s hopes for a free future alive. Our comrade Dirok, who is aware that this freedom, which our people deserve at great cost, can only be created through struggle, has always been in search of struggle. Our comrade Dirok, who never digested the enemy’s presence in Kurdistan, she also found the smallest action to be taken against the enemy valuable. Our comrade Dîrok, who stayed in the Gabar area for a short time, later moved to the Medya Defense Areas. With the basic training she received there, she deepened in the subjects of guerrilla life, war style and tactics. Together with our people, we took part in the resistance positions against the attacks of ISIS mercenaries against the gains of our people. Although she was deeply affected by the martyrdom of many of her comrades in the war against ISIS gangs, she made this the basis for further struggle. In this sense, she has made herself more competent ideologically and has decided to carry out her struggle more sharply. Comrade Dirok, who returned to the mountains of Kurdistan after successfully completing her duty in her war against the gangs, has come to the conclusion that the current level of participation cannot be an answer to the process passed through. She thought that, as an Apoist militant, she should base herself on a self-sacrificing participation in the face of the enemy’s attempt to bring the genocide policy to a conclusion by attacking our people with all its means. For this purpose, she became involved in the works of Hêzên Taybet in 2017. As the successor of Berîtan and Zilans, our comrade Dirok, who considers sacrifice as a lifestyle, has always based on the line of sacrifice, from his participation in the revolutionary work to his comradely relations. She further strengthened her self-sacrificing stance in life with the trainings she received. Our comrade Dîrok wanted to offer more layers to the freedom struggle of our people with the level of concentration she has reached, wanted to move to Bakure Kurdistan on this basis. In order to realize this demand, she deepened herself more in the military sense and reached a sharp style in the ideological and organizational sense.
After her proposal to go to Bakure Kurdistan was accepted, she turned her face to the land of her birth, Botan, with great enthusiasm and excitement. From the first moment she went to the botan area, she earned the respect of all her comrades with her devoted and enthusiastic participation. With his self-confidence, initiative and intelligent personality, our comrade Dirok, who aims to make every work he takes part in success, has become a pioneer militant in a short time with these characteristics. Our comrade Dîrok, who reflects the spirit of the new era very well with his uncountable participation, has peaked his sacrifice by resisting until his last breath in the Besta field, where he is a pioneering YJA Star commander.”
