NEWS CENTER – The ‘Freedom for Abdullah Öcalan, Peace and Stability for the World’ conference started in Cape Town, South Africa, led by the Kurdish Human Rights Working Group and the Syria Freedom for Leader Apo Initiative. Many representatives from Bakure Kurdistan, North-East Syria and South Africa are attending the two-day conference.

South African National Congress Spokesperson Cameron Dugmore, South African Communist Party Representative Solli Mbella, South African Trade Unions Congress Spokesperson Meloyn de Bruyn, Syria Freedom for Leader Apo Initiative Spokesperson Ferzende Munzur and South African Kurdish Human Rights Working Group Co-chair Mahmoud Patel made the opening speeches. .

At the conference, which attracted great interest, the contribution of Abdullah Öcalan’s physical freedom to the solution of the Kurdish problem and world peace is discussed.
