ROJAVA – The Rojava Women’s Revolution, which strengthened the spirit of national unity and the spirit of peoples’ unity, became a shelter for many heroic young men and women. In all corners of Kurdistan and the world, young people joined the ranks of the revolution. This holy land created a great hope and opportunity for a new life to get rid of the rulers. The resistance of Kobanê also changed the fate of the Kurdish people and the region on this basis, and took the most concrete step for the youth who raised the torch of freedom. In this way, all existing boundaries were removed and young people joined the ranks of the revolution.
Our friend Rojda Kayner also known as Mizgin Botan grows up in a patriotic family and joins the ranks of freedom from the field of Resistance in Cizira Botan. The resistant Botanic culture, which never surrendered to the occupation, gave birth to companions like Mizgin. Comrade Mizgin, as a young commander, took care of all his duties. When ISIS gangs attacked Kobanê, Heval Mizgin stood up as a brave woman against this brutality and joined the ranks of the YPJ in 2014. Mizgin played an important role and mission in the fight against ISIS. Every moment he breathed, she waged a merciless struggle for her people. At a young age, she put a lot of burden on her people and with her strong personality, she fulfilled her duties to the end, with the spirit of his land, against the reality of the country. As a young commander of the Women’s Defense Units, she strengthened herself in the strategy of the revolutionary people’s war, and she trained her comrades with these experiences and data. Comrade Mizgin had a deep understanding in terms of tactics and strategy, and against all kinds of attacks, she fulfilled her duties of building a new building at the level of professionalism in the line of legal protection. On these bases, both in the military and in the military field, she had a unique work in a short period of time. Every person has his own way of life, makes her existence meaningful. Heval Mizgin was one of our friends who reached the level of understanding her existence with a humble attitude.
Our friend Mizgin Botan reached the level of martyrdom on January 29, 2023 as a result of an accident while on duty. First of all, we would like to express our condolences to the family of Hevr Mizgin and all our patriotic people. We, as Women’s Defense Units, have the commitment to fulfill all the dreams of our martyred comrades. Our commitment to our martyred comrades is to raise our struggle.
