MEXMÛR – In the refugee camp Şehîd Rüstem Cudi (Mexmûr) today the vigil against the isolation of Rêber APO changed at 2 p.m. in the facility of the families of the fallen. The vigil was taken over today by Tevgera Jinên Ciwan ên Mexmûr and Tevgera Ciwanên Mexmûr. Before the action began, Dilvin Seven read a prepared text on behalf of the Youth and Young Women Assembly.
“As you know, the occupying Turkish state wants to destroy Kurdish society in every respect and uses all possible methods to do so. They continue their attacks wherever Kurdish society is located, from the Medya Defense Zones to Kurdish society. There are attempts by the family and lawyers to meet with Rêber APO, but these requests are not accepted and they want to convince Kurdish society with lies.
However, we Kurds know very well that these attacks against Rêber APO are part of the special war. (…) Because everyone from 7 to 70 organizes themselves according to the ideas of Rêber APO. Our society is not a society that will submit.
There is a resistance against the isolation of the chairman that has gone down in history. This resistance is developing both in the mountains of Kurdistan and in the population and is taking steps towards victory. Today, as young people, we stand by the Chairman’s side and say that until our Chairman is physically delivered, we will always be in the seats and we will do whatever is asked of us as the Chairman’s children.”
Finally, the youth turned to all Kurdish youth and said: “We call on all Kurdish youth to step up their fight against isolation. At the same time, as the youth of the camp, we too will expand the fight against isolation, we will stand firm as long as we ensure Rêber APO’s physical freedom.”
