In the statement, “In the 50th anniversary of Leader Apo’s struggle, we have become a people’s freedom movement, which is unique in history, whose every year and moment passes with great heroism. Today, the Kurdistan revolution, which has developed in the light of Leader Apo’s democratic-modernity liberal paradigm, has become the hope of liberation from the capitalist hegemony system for all the humanity of the Middle East and the world. In the light of this paradigm, the world humanity sees and embraces Leader Apo and the Kurdistan freedom struggle as its own leader and struggle.”
The statement also noted:
“In the age we live in, the reactionary system of nation-state fascism and capitalist hegemony has plunged the entire humanity into crisis for the sake of more profit and plunder. As this crisis threatens our society, it has also brought the planet we live on to the limits of bankruptcy. Leader Apo’s Democratic, Ecological, Women’s Libertarian paradigm has become the most liberal alternative paradigm of our age against Nation-State fascism and capitalist hegemony systems.
An international conspiracy against Leader Apo and the people’s freedom struggle has been organized by this Nation-State fascism and capitalist hegemonic powers, as Leader Apo has developed an alternative libertarian system struggle for the whole world against the Nation-State fascism and capitalist hegemony reactionary systems that threaten our society and our planet today. For more than twenty-four years, Leader Apo has been kept under torture and isolation in the Imrali torture dungeon by the invading fascist Turkish state. Despite all these attacks, they could not prevent the historical development of Leader Apo and the people’s freedom struggle.
In 2013 and 2014, when the invading fascist Turkish state’s plans to liquidate our people’s freedom struggle under the name of a solution failed, especially when our Kurdistan people’s freedom struggle became the hope of freedom for the whole world with the Rojava revolution, the invading fascist Turkish state planned a total collapse and genocide against our Kurdistan people’s freedom movement. The invading fascist Turkish state has been attacking our Kurdistan people’s freedom movement since July 24, 2015, on the basis of this total collapse, genocidal planning. As the Kurdistan People’s Freedom Movement, we have exhibited historically magnificent resistances, which are rare in history, against these all-out fascist genocidal attacks of the enemy.
The urban resistances that developed with the slogan of democratic self-government in Bakure Kurdistan pioneered these historically magnificent resistances. These historical and glorious resistances, a ‘first’ in the history of the people’s struggle for freedom in Kurdistan, left their mark on our history. The invading fascist Turkish state committed all kinds of war crimes and crimes against humanity in order to break our resistance in this historical and magnificent city that developed especially in Sur, Cizre, Nusaybin, Sirnaq, Gimgim, Farqîn, Silopî, Gever, Van, Dêrik, Kerboran, Hezex, Rêzan and Bismil. attacked the self-government will of our patriotic people.

During this historical and glorious struggle, we suffered great pains as a people and as a movement, and we paid a heavy price. As we wrap up the 7th anniversary of our YPS/YPS-JIN organization, the civil self-defense force of the people of Kurdistan, we hereby declare that we entered the historical 8th year of struggle in the footsteps of our heroic martyrs, stronger than ever, with a more assertive and freedom struggle spirit. In this uninterrupted seven-year history of YPS/YPS-JIN’s struggle, we have always been in an active struggle against the genocidal attacks of the occupying fascist Turkish state. The invading fascist Turkish state, which made plans to bring down the people of Kurdistan and the freedom movement seven years ago, is now experiencing the irreversible collapse of its century-old history in the person of the AKP-MHP fascist regime. The historical 2022 year of struggle with the invading fascist Turkish state has been a clear indicator of this collapse.
The heavy defeat of the invading fascist Turkish state Kurdistan in the historical struggle year of 2022 brought the century-old invading fascist Turkish state, which was built on the denial and destruction of Kurds and Kurdistan, to the brink of historical collapse in the person of the AKP-MHP regime. The fascist Turkish state is in a state of great panic and fear to prevent this historical collapse. The Victory move launched by our YPS/YPS-JIN organization against the genocidal attacks of the invading fascist Turkish state in the historical 2022 year of struggle in the metropolises of Bakur and Turkey has become the fascist regime’s nightmare, so to speak. All our revolutionary patriotic people need to know that this historical move initiated by our YPS organization is not a periodic move. The victory move initiated by our YPS/YPS-JIN organization will continue with uninterrupted great assertion and determination until we bring our revolutionary patriotic people together in ‘Free Leadership and free Kurdistan’. On this occasion, we call on all the revolutionary patriotic people of Kurdistan to more actively embrace and raise our victory move against the genocidal attacks of the occupying fascist enemy in the 8th year of YPS/YPS-JIN’s historical foundation.
On the basis of this spirit of struggle for freedom, we wish the 7th anniversary of our YPS/YPS-JIN organization to be celebrated, especially to Leader Apo, the patriotic people of Kurdistan and his friends.”
