NEWS CENTER – The internationalist network of solidarity with the struggle and the revolutionary process in Kurdistan has published on their homepage a written statement in which they analyze the second massacre in Paris, of December 23, 2022 and call on the French and international left “ claims to develop that support those of the Kurdish organizations in France, and to take into account in their analyzes and actions the political and historical context of the Kurdish community and its revolutionary movement”.
They stated: “It is necessary today that the French and international left listens and forwards the legitimate questions raised by Kurdish organizations in France, taking into account the particular international political and historical context of the Kurdish people and their revolutionary movement .”
They also made it clear that the very shady investigation results, the anti-Kurdish racism in France and the history of counterinsurgency in Turkey must be taken into account in order to understand the context surrounding the attack in Paris. They propose supporting the Kurdish organizations in France in their demands, but also demanding the right to asylum and an end to repression by the police and the judiciary.
They also made it clear in their statement that on January 7th, an internationalist march will be organized by the Serhildan network, while a “Jin Jiyan Azadî” march will march with all women who want to join it. Concluding their statement, the Serhildan network called for “truth and justice for the six murdered activists” .
