Our comrade Sabri was born in a patriotic family in Gever, the resistance stronghold of the Zagross, which has always led the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle with the dozens of valuable commanders he brought from his bosom. The patriotism of his family and community and the fact that one of his uncles was martyred in the ranks of freedom in 1997 enabled Comrade Sabri to get to know our party PKK and our guerrilla struggle closely. Our comrade Sabri, who witnessed the attacks of the enemy against our people and lived it personally, felt great anger at the enemy and sought to turn this anger into a struggle. On this basis, he believed that the most effective and fruitful struggle would be joining the guerrilla ranks in the PKK, and he joined the guerrilla ranks in 2015.
Comrade Sabri, who took over the name of his martyred uncle and the flag of struggle after joining the guerrilla ranks, started his guerrilla march. Our comrade Sabri, who started his guerrilla in the Zap, stayed in every area of the Zap, worked on almost every inch of his land, sweated and left a mark on every path. He was a source of morale in every environment he was in, with his stance that never lacked a smile on his face, and he knew how to make a place in the hearts of all his comrades. Our comrade Sabri, who has come to the forefront with his devoted participation in all areas of life, from actions to practical work since the day he joined, witnessed all the enemy operations against Zap, participated, and created an important experience and knowledge. In addition, with some of the skills he developed within the organization, he had a prominent place among all his comrades by meeting the needs of almost every work and camp. He knew how to respond to the needs of his comrades all the way to Avaşîn province, as there were no areas, camps and working places he did not enter in the Zap and Çemço areas.
Our comrade Sabri, who has been in the Saca area since the start of the enemy attacks on April 14, has tried to support his comrades fighting in the resistance tunnels by meeting the infrastructure needs as well as taking part in the actions developed here. With the enemy’s attack on the Saca Resistance Areas, Martyr Xursi proposed himself to the resistance position and commanded the resistance position during the enormous resistance period that lasted up to 3 months.
