PARIS – KCK Executive Council Member Emine Kara (Evîn Goyî), Mîr Perwer (Mehmet Şirin Aydın) from the Cultural Movement, and Kurdish patriot Abdurrahman Kızıl, who were killed in an armed attack at the Ahmet Kaya Kurdish Cultural Center on 23 December, are Kurdistanis and their friends in Paris’ Villers. He sent him off to Kurdistan with a magnificent ceremony in the suburb of -le-Belle.
The bodies taken from the Paris Forensic Medicine Institute were brought to the Palace de Villiers Platz in the suburb of Villers-le-Belle, where the commemoration and farewell ceremony will be held. The ceremony hall, attended by many representatives of Kurdish institutions and European politicians, was filled by the people of Kurdistan from the early hours of the morning.
Wreaths of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, PKK-PAJK, KJK-KCK, TJK-E- KCDK-E, TJK-F CDK-F, TEV-ÇAND took place in the ceremony hall. After the ceremony, the crowd entered the hall and left carnations. The funeral of Evin Goyi was sent to Başur, and the funerals of Mir Perwer and Abdurrahman Kızıl were sent to Bakur.
AKDOĞAN: NO matter what they do, they will be defeated
Speaking at the ceremony, French Democratic Kurdish Council (CDK-F) Co-chairman Xane Akdoğan said, “Kurdish women are the nightmare of regimes. The target for this is Kurdish women and their struggle. However, the slogan ‘jin, jiyan, azadi’ created by Evin and her comrades is being embraced by women all over the world.” said. Saying, “Erdogan and his supporters will be defeated no matter what they do,” Akdogan said, “We will put an end to Erdogan’s fascism, just as Evin finished ISIS. They targeted our defenseless people in Paris. But no matter what they do, we will not bow to the enemy, we will not kneel.”
ÜLMEZ: IT WILL BE THE CENTURY OF THE KURDISH
CDK-F Co-Chair Abdulah Ülmez made a call to “raise the struggle”. Ülmez said, “Our people have taken a clear stand against the massacres with their struggle. Those who want to destroy us will perish. This century will be the year of women and Kurds. No one will be able to stand against it. We must be in unity and struggle in these historical days. Our struggle will grow to shed light on the massacre. They should expose the planners,” he said.
HADDAD: WE ARE IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE Kurds
Sarcelles Mayor M. Patrick Haddad said, “Everyone can find themselves in this city. Here, brotherhood is essential. The whole city is in shock due to the attack. I am one of them. 3 Kurds were killed. We are in solidarity with the families of the murdered and all the Kurds in Europe. We share your pain.” he said.
KARTAL: WE WILL TAKE REVENGE BY DESTROYING FASCISM
KONGRA-GEL Co-chairman Remzi Kartal pointed to the massacre that took place on January 9, 2013 and said, “When Leader Apo heard about this massacre, he said, ‘We will take their revenge by destroying fascism.’ This is such a great revenge that we can only take it by destroying fascism. “He has put his genocidal policies into action. He has mobilized all his means for the destruction of the Kurdish people. However, the resistance of our people has rendered all these attacks futile,” he said.
Calling the French government to “lighten up the massacres”, Kartal said: “The bright pioneers of the freedom struggle have been murdered in this country within 10 years. Why are the leading women of the world targeted in Paris? We promise our martyrs; we will expand the struggle for Kurdistan and women’s freedom. We will illuminate the darkness.” . The year 2023 will be the year of defeat of AKP-MHP fascism. Victory will be ours.”
Describing the struggle of the families and relatives of the murdered, they gave the message, “We will not kneel or bow down no matter how much they massacred us. My condolences to the Kurdish people. We will protect their memories with our struggle. This march is an honorable march. We have been resisting these attacks for years. They are immortal.”
KONCA: WE WILL ASK YOUR ACCOUNT
Speaking on behalf of TJK-E, Besime Konca called for the massacre to be clarified. Konca said, “We know this enemy who murdered Sakine Cansız, Fidan Doğan, Leyla Şaylemez, Jiyan Tolhildan, Evin Goyi, Hevrin Xelef, Garibe Gezer, Nagihan Akarsel, Deniz Poyraz and Jina Emini. Once again, we promise that one of the murderers of women, women. “We will hold accountable by building confederalism. We will enlarge the ‘jin jiyan azadi’ alliance, which is rising all over the world,” she said.
XEMGIN: OUR HOPE IS OUR STRENGTH
Speaking on behalf of the Culture and Art Movement (TEV-ÇAND), Xelil Xemgin said that he sees Turkey’s existence through the destruction of the Kurdish people. “Our cry is a cry for revenge,” said Xemgin, adding, “We do not expect from others. Our only hope and expectation is our own strength. The struggle of Kurdish women has spread all over the world. We will promote Mir Perver’s songs and tunes everywhere.”
HUSEYIN: THE WHOLE WORLD MUST VOICE
Kurdistan Free Life Movement (Tevgera Azadi) Spokesperson Tara Hussein said: “The Turkish state bombards the mountains of Southern Kurdistan with chemicals every day. The whole world should raise a voice against this. Our murdered friends fought for world peace. They are targeting the leaders of the Kurdish people. “They know very well that they are not former Kurds. They are afraid of free Kurds. That’s why they attack with chemicals. All the peoples and states of the world should stand by and support the Kurdish people’s struggle against these attacks,” he said.
MESSAGE FROM FRENCH POLITICIANS
The French friends of the Kurdish people also took the floor at the commemoration, stating that they shared the pain of the Kurdish people and condemned the massacre. Stating that they are with the Kurdish people, the French demanded that the Paris massacre of 9 January and 23 December be clarified. After the speeches, there was a cine-vision screening compiled from Emine Kara’s previous speeches.
After the ceremony, Emine Kara’s funeral will be sent to Maxmur, Abdurahman Kızıl’s funeral will be sent to Qers, and Mir Perwer’s funeral will be sent to Muş by air. The bodies will be buried in mass in the places where they were sent.
