NEWS CENTER – Asrın Law Firm’s attorneys İbrahim Bilmez, Newroz Uysal, Mazlum Dinç and Cengiz Yürekli applied to meet Önder Apo, who has been held under heavy isolation conditions in İmralı F Type High Security Prison and has not been heard from for more than 21 months. Lawyers applied to Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office and İmralı Penitentiary Institution.
No positive or negative response is given to the applications made by the lawyers twice a week to meet with Leader Apo.
The family visit ban ended on November 18, 2021. Despite this, no response was given to the families’ applications to the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office.
Rezan Sarıca and Nevroz Uysal, two of Önder Apo’s lawyers, last met their clients on May 2-22, June 12-18 and August 7, 2019, after 8 years. Lawyers have not been allowed to meet with their clients since then.
