BEHDINAN – HPG Press Center, “Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla is dealing heavy blows to the invaders by displaying a historical resistance against the invasion operation of the colonial Turkish state. Despite the intense use of inhumane methods by the war criminal Turkish army, it cannot achieve the desired result in the face of the resistance of our forces who fought selflessly. Despite the difficulties that exceed human will, our forces continue their resistance and actions. As a result of the actions carried out by our forces, at least 3 invaders were punished.
The invading Turkish army bombed the guerrilla resistance positions once with banned bombs, 13 times with chemical weapons, and dozens of times with howitzers, tanks and heavy weapons. At the same time, the guerrilla bombed the areas with warplanes 5 times,” it said.
The details of the actions and attacks carried out are as follows:
“Sometimes in the Zap region as part of the Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign;
- At 08:00 and 11:00 on 17 January, the invaders near the Çemço region of the Şêladize sub-district of the Amediyê district were shot twice by our mobile teams with heavy weapons and at least 2 invaders were punished.
- On January 17, at 13:00, the invaders near the village of Sîda in the Şêladize sub-district of the Amediyê district were shot by our mobile teams with an assassination tactic and 1 invader was punished.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with banned bombs and chemical weapons;
- On 17 January, the guerrilla resistance positions near the Çemço region of the Şêladize sub-district of the Amediye district were bombed 11 times with chemical weapons from morning hours until evening.
- On 17 January, the guerrilla resistance positions near the village of Sîda in the Şêladize sub-district of the Amediyê district were bombed once with banned bombs and twice with chemical weapons. At the same time, toxic fumes emitted by burning plastic materials and car tires were directed to resistance positions.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army;
- On January 17, the Gûndê Bilind Bazê and Gundê Çemrobotki area of Garê and the Golka area of Metîna were bombed 5 times with warplanes.
- On 17 January, the guerrilla resistance positions near the Girê Ortê area of Metîna, the Çemço region of the Şêladize district of the Amediyê district and the Sîda village were bombed dozens of times with howitzers, tanks and heavy weapons.”
