BERLIN – Today, January 18, the young women from TekoJIN and the young people from Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger (TCŞ) carried out an action at the Humboldt University in Berlin to draw attention to the ongoing isolation of Rêber APO.
The young people went to the students’ lectures, distributed flyers reporting on the life and current situation of Chairman Abdullah Öcalan and gave a speech informing the students about the current situation of Chairman Abdullah Öcalan. They explained:
“The chairman was imprisoned by an international conspiracy and has been imprisoned in Imrali prison for 24 years. The Turkish state wants to separate the chairman from society so that we forget him and give up our fight. But we, the young people and especially the young women, stand against it. Let us not be fooled and condemn Turkey. We do not accept this oppression and we fight against the fascism of the Turkish state.”
Furthermore, the youths and young women explained that Rêber APO revealed his free thoughts in his books and revealed to the youth the capitalist system in them. In conclusion, the youth and young women declared: “We will spread the Chairman’s thoughts until he is physically free. We, the revolutionary youth and revolutionary young women, call on all young people to read Rêber APO’s texts and discern what is the right way.”
The action ended with slogans like: “Freedom for Öcalan, Peace in Kurdistan” and “Jin, Jiyan, Azadî”.
