ALEPPO – Members of the Revolutionary Youth, the Young Women’s Union, and members of the institutions participated in the march. The march started from in front of the Revolutionary Youth Movement Center in the western section of Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo, all the way to Afrin Park in the Ashrafieh neighborhood.
During which the participants raised pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, pictures of martyrs who were martyred in Afrin, flags of the People’s and Women’s Protection Units, and banners that read “Revenge“, “In the spirit of the revolutionary youth, we will end the occupation and liberate Afrin.”
“The Kurdish people will always be the thorn in the side of the Turkish occupation”
Upon their arrival in Afrin Park, the participants stood for a minute of silence, and then a member of the Young Women’s Union, Nadia Youssef, delivered a speech in which she said: “In the person of the martyrs of the Resistance of the Age, we remember all the martyrs, and bow in homage to them. As we all know, the occupation of Afrin and the attack on our people is entering its sixth year.” Here is the sixth year, and the Turkish occupation state occupies the nature of Afrin and exterminates it, but Afrin is always in our heart. We will end the occupation.
Nadia Youssef emphasized the escalation of the resistance, The people of Afrin in al-Shahba and in the resistance neighborhood, Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood, are a resistant people by nature. They will continue the struggle until the liberation of Afrin.”
She also added, “The Turkish occupation state wants to annihilate us, but with the thought and philosophy of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, we will always be the thorn in the side of the Turkish occupation.”
