The internationalist arm of the long marches organized every year for the freedom of People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan on the occasion of the anniversary of the International Conspiracy will start from Geneva on February 6 this year. Internationalists, who will gather in Geneva on February 4 for the march, will make a press release after the seminar they will hold on February 5.
The internationalists, who will start their march in Geneva’s Neuve Square on February 6 at 9.30 am, will stop by Lausanne on 7 February, Bern on 8 February, Solothurn on 9 February, and Basel on 10 February and continue the Swiss stage. and will end its actions with a mass march and rally to be held in Strasbourg on February 11.
Colombian internationalist Camilo Torres, speaking to the ANF on behalf of the March Organizing Committee, pointed out that the isolation on Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan has been going on for years and said that they will demand an end to the isolation with the march they will organize. Torres said: “It has been 22 months and there has been no news from the Leader. The Human Rights Committee for the Prevention of Torture (CPT) does not play its role. They are causing the isolation on the leadership to intensify. That’s why we want to make a sound with this walk. We want to make our voices heard in all institutions in Europe, institutions such as human rights, etc. People should not remain silent against the isolation on their Leader.”

Stating that they will organize a conference as internationalists on February 5, Camilo Torres continued, “Of course there will be discussions, various cultural programs will be organized. We want to add all the colors of the world to this action. We want to tell you; We want all colors of the world to come together through this struggle and to break the isolation on the Leadership. We will also participate in the action organized by Kurdish youth in Europe in Strasbourg, France, on February 11.

Stating that as internationalist youth, they want all democratic forces to support the march to be held against the 24-year-old isolation on Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan, Camilo Torres called for participation: We will come together as internationals.
