THE PKK’S EXPERIENCE OF THE PEOPLE’S REVOLUTIONARY WAR AND ITS RESULTS

It is clear that the struggle against the methods of the system of destruction and denial, even if in a different way, with the methods and tools of their influence, is a condition for achieving existence, identity and freedom together.”
WITHOUT THE REVOLUTIONARY PEOPLE’S WAR, THERE WOULD BE NO FREEDOM AND NO IDENTITY
The leader of the Freedom seeker people talked about the start of the Revolutionary People’s War and its inevitability, and made this assessment: “We did not doubt the need for a revolutionary people’s war. If such a process did not take place, people could not talk about identity, nor could they talk about freedom. Kurdistan was a part of the land or a country that had already been conquered. In a situation like this, if you have the slightest idea, you can only protect yourself with forceful methods. The PKK was somehow forced to organize itself as a militia force. In the opposite situation, he could not stay on his feet for a day. If it remained, it would not have any difference from other forces and it would be liquidated. In a classic people’s war, guerrilla tactics of the international order would have forced this army. Previous events confirmed this. The conditions were in place for the development of the people’s war both in the field of establishing strategic relations, and especially in the field of providing tactical support for logistics and training.”
REVOLUTIONARY PEOPLE’S WAR AND ALLIES
Certainly, there are many groups and individuals who come from the tradition of the Turkish people and call themselves leftists in the struggle for freedom and internationalist identity of the PKK and have taken a place with it. They joined the PKK and became one. First of all, Kemal Pir and Haki Karer, many of our friends and comrades, men and women with Turkish roots, took part and fought in the front lines of the struggle as the most valuable cadres of the PKK until they were martyred. We still have many such friends and comrades in the ranks of the PKK. Not only between Kurds and Turks, socialist and democratic forces, in order for meaningful friendships to develop and solidarity between all the social forces of the people, first of all, there is a need for a correct historical and social memory.
THE PEOPLE’S REVOLUTIONARY WAR OPENED THE WAY FOR A DEMOCRATIC NATION
The experience of the revolutionary people’s war led by the PKK, one of its important results, paved the way for the reality of a democratic nation. We fought the war with the forces of the people. Whether feudal or bourgeois, there was a boundary between us and the upper class. Our step and move towards the national side did not rule out the concept of people’s war. Instead of the bourgeois nationality, a concept like the nationality of the people was gradually formed. The democratic nation category became an alternative model both from the class point of view and from the point of view of solving the national problem. He made the democratic nation the most important element of democratic modernity.
The boundaries between the Kurds of the four parts became useless with the formation of the democratic nation. Borders are everything for nation states, but they are nothing for a democratic nation. The democratic nation was considered as the most important revolutionary revolution in the mind of the people, and the democratic autonomy was established as the most important revolution with growth in every part.
THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR AND THE CREATION OF MILITIANS AMONG THE KURDS
Despite this, we made life and resistance the basis for ourselves. Although Iraqi Kurdistan gained federal status on our back, their war against our forces in that area could not eliminate us. On the contrary, we spread throughout South Kurdistan. The Turkish army had strategically won the military victory, but it suffered a strategic blow because it opened the Federated Kurdistan first. He got the support of the majority of the Kurds in Europe and reached the status of establishing representations in many countries of the Balkans, Caucasus and Central Asia.
