NEWS CENTER – The Deputy Head of the 3rd Headquarters of the YNK of Erbil and the political observer Reshad Gelali stated that an intelligence delegation of MIT has come to Mosul for about a month and is doing special intelligence work on the Shengal region and its surroundings.
For a long time, Turkey, with the cooperation of the Turkmen Front and again with the cooperation of the KDP in the Southern Kurdistan Region, has started intelligence activities and the National Intelligence Organization (MİT) of the Turkish state. In this context, MIT Undersecretary Hakan Fidan visited the Erbil Presidency of the Turkmen Front of Iraq (ITC) on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.

Gelali gave an interesting information about the activities of the Turkish MIT, which has been doing intelligence work in Mosul for the last time. Gelali said, “I will give an information that has not been shared yet. There is a 30-person MIT delegation in Mosul. The goal of this group is clear in the region. They have been working for about a month, and their goal is to have more influence on the regional structures. It will impose its authority on Shengal and its surroundings. In my opinion, they want to destroy the existence of the Yezidis. If it continues like this, it will also affect the immigrant Arabs who have come to the region. In my opinion, it will pose a great threat to our Yezidi brothers and sisters in the future. This kind of work has been going on for a while, but it has been less than a month since this delegation arrived in Mosul. I am talking about this as a loyal and observer for my country and nation. I hope that all sides will get out of the attack and occupation of Turkey, Syria, and Iran with minimal damage. I hope there will be an agreement between the political parties of all four parts.”
FIDAN VISIT BAGHDAD
It is worth remembering that the Head of Turkish Intelligence, Hakan Fidan, visited Baghdad on September 11 and had many secret and public meetings with the authorities, especially with Iraqi President Barham Salih, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazimi and Sunni leader Hamis Hançer.
MIT’S MOVEMENT IN KIRKUK
According to the document prepared by the Iraqi Intelligence Agency in Kirkuk and distributed on the anti-national networks related to Hashdi Shabi, it is signed by the Iraqi Intelligence Directorate of Kirkuk and dated June 28, 2022. Last week, 10 vehicles, 5 of them Toyota, 4 Taho and 1 Ram, which were registered at MIT, went from Erbil to Kirkuk. According to the same document, the vehicles of the Turkish intelligence organization (MIT) were found near the Kirkuk airport. According to this document, the Iraqi Intelligence Agency managed to reveal the location of the Turkish MIT in Kirkuk, but so far no position has been shown in this regard.
