FRANKFURT – The youth and young women of Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger (TCŞ) and Jinên Ciwan ên Têkoşer (TekoJIN) marched on Zeil, Frankfurt’s central shopping street, on Thursday evening. They demand justice for the Martyrs of Paris, express their loyalty to the guerrilla fighters in Zap, Avasin and Metîna, and demand freedom for Serok APO.
They explain: “While the general public celebrates Christmas and New Year, our Hevals have been killed and Serok APO continues to be isolated. As Kurdish youth and young women, we do not accept this. In the 21st century, Kurds cannot still be oppressed because of their language, culture and political stance. We are angry and we will take this anger to the streets! We know that the perpetrator behind the attacks in Paris is the Turkish state. We know that European states such as Germany or France support, finance and cover up Turkish fascism and fascist structures. Our answer is Tolhildan! In the spirit of Jin Jiyan Azadi, we will thwart all colonial plans!”
