FREIBURG – Yesterday evening, Saturday, December 10th, a youth demonstration took place in Freiburg to draw attention to the war crimes of the occupying Turkish state and to condemn the ignorance of the international community. The demonstration was also directed against the ongoing isolation torture against the chairman Abdullah Öcalan and demanded the release of Rêber APO.
The young people and young women marched through the city with flags from Rêber APO and flags in the Kurdish colors green, red and yellow and called attention to their demands with slogans.
During the action, they pointed out that the YPG and YPG defense units defended humanity in Rojava against ISIS gangs and are now being attacked with NATO weapons. Furthermore, they drew attention to the fact that the chairman Abdullah Öcalan, who created an ideology that is a source of strength and morale and a basis for the struggle of the defense units in Rojava, the free mountains of Kurdistan and the freedom-loving societies, is being isolated and attacked in four walls represents worldwide.
The demonstrators declared that Rêber APO, as leader of a legitimate movement, should be given conditions to live and work freely in order to contribute to the solution of the Kurdish question and the democratization of Turkey and the Middle East.
