HAMBURG – On the evening of December 14, the members of TekoJIN and TCŞ in Hamburg brought pictures of Rêber APO and various slogans into public spaces at various locations in the city of Hamburg by spraying stencils on various house walls and electrical boxes.
The members of TekoJIN and TCŞ in Hamburg explained their action:
“Despite several requests and our actions to educate and raise awareness, there is still no sign of life from Serok, we do not know how he is doing. In addition, he did not come to the meeting with the CPT, which means that we have had no sign of life from him for 20 months. That’s 20 months too long. He has been in solitary confinement under conditions that violate human rights for 23 years, and these are 23 years too many. Every kind of press, human rights organization and politician is silent and does not draw attention to it or show solidarity with the Kurdish people. On the contrary, these are only being criminalized more and more and the attacks by the Turkish state are also being carried out with German weapons.
If no one acts, we must take action and resist until the opposite happens. We as youth have to burn the streets and win them over. We must become one and resist together, because every voice is worth something and the time has come to be a voice. Werin Cenga Azadiyê”
