FRANCE – Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger (TCŞ) member youth announced with a written statement that they started a move to send letters to many institutions, especially the CPT and the UN, until they met with Rêber APO’s lawyers.
Young people stated that they started a move with the slogan “Send a letter for Leader APO” as part of the “Werin Cenga Azadiyê” move. The explanations of the young people about the move they started are as follows;
Leader APO has been facing heavy captivity for 24 years, as well as an unprecedented isolation and torture in the world. We call on the CPT, the EU, the UN and the entire European public to take a stand against this isolation and recognize the will of the Kurdish people.
As a result of the absolute isolation on Leader APO, inhuman practices are emerging as stated below.
1 – Guerrillas are killed with chemical weapons.
2 – Kurdish women are kidnapped by the state, judiciary and gangs. They are subjected to rape, torture and massacre.
3 – All prisons in Turkey and Kurdistan have become centers of torture and death.
4 – The future of a people is being destroyed by assassination of Kurdish politicians.
5 – All areas of democratic politics where the people can express themselves are closed, and mass murder and violence are used.
6 – Civil settlements are bombed and thousands of people are exiled and sentenced to death.
7 – The Kurdish people are forced into severe refugee conditions by being condemned to hunger, poverty and misery.
8 – The whole nature of Kurdistan is being hit with banned weapons and a whole geography is destroyed.
9 – All the gains of the Kurdish people are violated and their will is usurped, No gains (language, culture, education, etc.) are recognized.
10 – The fascist Turkish state is waging an open genocide war against a population of 50 million in front of the whole world, ignoring all international and universal humanitarian rules, with the CPT, EU and NATO behind it.
