ROJAVA – SDF Press Center said in a written statement, “The invading Turkish army and gang groups continue their attacks against our regions without interruption. The attacks, which started on 19 November, expanded and targeted mostly civilian citizens, economic and service institutions. In addition to the bombardment against the region every day, there are also attempts to attack from the land by the invading gangs. Many attempts of the invading gangs have been defeated in the past days.”
The attacks, which began on November 19, expanded further, and continued to target more and more civilians and economic and service institutions. In parallel; the area is being targeted on a daily basis. In the past few days, many attacks of the occupation mercenaries were thwarted.
- On December 04, in the town of Tal Tamr, and in the village of “Al-Dibs”, in west of the town of Tal Tamr, the occupation mercenaries attempted to launch an attack on the area and in the response of our forces to them; 4 mercenaries were killed, and the attack was thwarted.
- On December 05, also in the countryside of the town of Tal Tamr, and in the village of “Al-Arisha”, the occupation mercenaries tried once again to enter the area. Our forces responded to this attack, and clashes broke out between our units and the occupation mercenaries, which resulted in the death of 6 mercenaries, and two AK-47 weapons, two night binoculars, and a mobile device were seized.
- On December 7, a group of mercenaries stationed in the village of “Mushairfa Ruma”, which is located between Tal Tamr and the city of Serêkaniyê / Ras al-Ain, attempted to launch an attack on our areas. This attempt was also thwarted, and our forces confronted it, which led to the death of 4 mercenaries.
- Also on December 08, in the countryside of the town of Zarkan, the occupation mercenaries attempted, from their base in the village of Bab al-Khair, to launch another attack. As a result of our forces’ response to them; 4 mercenaries were killed, and 6 others were wounded.
The outcome of these response operations: 18 mercenaries were killed and 6 others wounded.
