ROJAVA – In the North and East of Syria, one of the main forces for the protection of society and the region is the Social Protection Forces (HPC). The HPC members showed their determination to resist and win against the recent attacks of the occupying Turkish state. Talking to ANF, they said:
HPC member Sheikh Mihemed from Afrin drew attention to the invasion attacks of the Turkish state and the silence of the hegemonic forces in the region and said, “We will raise our voice and respond to the enemy. The Social Defense Force was created by the people and is responsible for protecting The people rise up. It will answer the enemies in any way. That’s why the people are all HPC, because this organization is the people’s organization. We believe in our strength, we will stand up against the attacks of the Turkish state.”
HPC member Zekiye Sido also reminded that the occupying Turkish state has been brutally attacking their areas for some time and said, “The aim of these attacks is to drive the people out of the region. That’s why the HPC that came from the people construction, especially women will stand up violently in front of these attacks. Our people, who have organized themselves based on the idea of Leader Apo with the understanding of revolutionary people’s war, are not afraid of attacks.”
Zekiye Sido stated that they will never leave their areas and will always protect their people.
