NEWS CENTER – The Executive Council of KCK published a message of condolence due to the death of Sison. KCK’s message is as follows:
“Our friend the founding president of the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) Jose Maria Sison has passed away which we are deeply saddened by. This sad news has a heavy impact on the members and supporters of the Communist Party of the Philippines, President Sison’s loved ones, friends and the people of the Philippines. did, we, his friends also hurt a lot.
President Jose Maria Sison took his place in the struggle for socialism and the revolution of the Filipino people until the end of his term. He was a revolutionary who was always at the forefront. He was an activist, a theoretician of the revolution. Comrade Sison became a legend with his struggle against the dictatorship of Ferdinand Marcos. Because of his struggle against the Marcos dictatorship, he was kept in prison for a long time. He continued his struggle in prison, he guided the revolution and revolutionary forces with his thoughts and writings. President Sison’s struggle was not limited to the Philippines. As an anti-imperialist, he joined the revolutionary movements of the world and continued his struggle in the international arena.
President Jose Maria Sison was also a friend of the Kurds. Timi always supported the freedom struggle of the people of Kurdistan. He participated in the campaign for the freedom of our leader Abdullah Ocalan and tried to continue the campaign in the international arena. The death of President Sison had a great impact on us. The Kurdish people and the freedom movement of Kurdistan are very sad because they have lost a great friend.
President Sison was a great bridge of friendship between the people of the Philippines and Kurdistan. We; his friends and colleagues of President Sison have the duty to further this bridge of friendship. We are determined to live up to President Sison’s legacy and be worthy of his memory.
We hereby express our condolences to the dear family of President Jose Maria Sison, his comrades, friends, members and leaders of the Communist Party of the Philippines, the people of the Philippines and the revolutionary movements of the world, and we respectfully bow to the memory of Comrade Sison.”
