In the last period, the CPT delegation announced that they went to İmralı and held meetings there. However, the lawyers of Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan made a statement stating that there were no meetings in İmralı. What can you say about this?
This week’s information, statements and emerging issues point to a normal-non-ordinary situation in Imrali. First of all, we should point out that; isolation and psychological torture have been going on for 24 years. In the last 21 months, these have become much more rigid and we have not heard from our Leader. The available information is not satisfactory. There is no official information. No one on our side has reached the Leader and the other three friends there. For this reason, the information spread is not of a quality that we can believe. They are vague as they are not very formal anyway. This raises our suspicions.
Our anxiety is rising
As you mentioned, the CPT first said, “We went to Turkey, we toured the dungeons; We also went to Imrali and had a meeting,” he said. The first thing that is known about this issue is that İmralı was not included in the program of their visit to Turkey. Why does he suddenly change his programs and visit İmralı?
Another issue is that they said “we had a meeting” on the way back. This was understood as if they had a meeting with Leader Apo. Later, information emerged that Leader Apo did not agree to meet with the CPT. So if there is such a situation, why does the CPT not speak the truth and lie like a scandal? What is the CPT doing this scandal for? In short, all of these increase doubts and doubts in people. We have too much anxiety. We know that the pressure on our Leader has increased there. There are comings and goings; they are heard. Again, health delegations also have their own round-trips. This situation further increases our concerns regarding the health of Leader Apo. It is clear that it is not an ordinary situation, on the contrary, it is a serious situation. This is a very important issue. First of all, this issue, namely Leader Apo’s situation, cannot be the material of small calculations such as the election. No one should approach it like that. Such an approach to Leader Apo and the Kurdish problem is not only a cheap approach, but whoever approaches it like this will turn against him.
Leader Apo is the only bridge between the Kurdish people and Turkey
If the Kurdish people are going to have a common life with Turkey, the only bridge to it will be Leader Apo. Everyone should know this. Leader Apo is also the architect of what would be a common, equal, free and peaceful life within the borders of Turkey. Turkish state officials should first of all consider this reality and approach it more seriously. This is a serious matter. Nobody should play on this issue on the basis of small calculations, make politics; this is a great danger. This is our warning. Nobody should take this as a threat, but everybody knows that; At the highest level, there are thousands of people who are devoted to Leader Apo and his philosophy to death. This is a vital thing and a very important issue. For this, everyone should approach carefully and no one should make mistakes in this regard.
We do not know what happened on Imrali Island for 21 months.
The current situation cannot be expressed with the word isolation alone. There is such a thing as being held in severe captivity. This situation is not in the law of any state, and there is no analogue of this practice. Today, the world has shrunk, telecommunication has developed, people at one end of the world can hear what is happening at the other end, but we, the people and the Movement, do not know what has happened on Imrali Island for 21 months. There is such a harsh and absolute isolation. The state or government carries out a policy according to itself there. This is unacceptable. We don’t want anything from anyone. We want Turkey’s laws to be acted accordingly, just as there are universal laws. Our people want this right now. For example, our people have been on the streets for 9-10 days. What attitude should the democratic public and the Kurdish people take, and what are their responsibilities?

In these 8 months, many guerrilla friends have not taken a bath, washed their faces, and are under chemical attack and bombardment day and night. So we are in such a period. Young people with a mission in the struggle, women should claim their duties
The people of Rojava are also on the streets to a significant extent; Again, our Eastern people are on the streets every day and are under a certain burden. There, our people follow a distinctive line with other peoples of Iran. In the North, our people should take to the streets. For example, now in the North, political and official institutions call our people to gather by giving a date. This is a good thing. It’s something really valuable and we have respect. They believe it and they do it. Everyone should do what they believe in. So, is everyone who does this a PKK member? No, but the state sees it that way. In other words, HDP for both Rojava and the North, etc. He has such an understanding for parties as well. No. Leader Apo is the leader of a society. It represents a case. All religious groups, non-political circles, villagers, city dwellers, especially young people, women and workers who have a mission in this struggle should protect their duties.
It should start from the streets, not from the centers
These should not be done with a formal approach only. Here, official institutions are calling for ‘gathering in such and such places’; the state also hears this; There is an antichrist who is already a special war chief. He holds all the roads before the people go to that place and gathers more police than the protesters. This is an altruistic stance that should be respected. The Turkish state has been attacking North-East Syria since November 19th. What is the purpose of these attacks and what attitude should the peoples have towards it?
The concept of the Turkish state is to eliminate all the gains of the Kurdish people and to make the genocide policy dominant in Kurdistan. In this context, Rojava does not want Kurds and North-East Syria to have an autonomous administration. He sees this as a danger to himself and wants to eliminate it. They have an approach in this context. One side is like that. The other side is about elections. The state wants to occupy the borders of the National Pact. There is a project on this subject, but the AKP-MHP government, on the one hand, wants to carry out this concept, on the other hand, it wants to strengthen fascism and nationalism in order to get votes in the elections. So both accounts exist. For this, they first wanted to come to Medya Defense Zones, that is, Southern Kurdistan, to get results. However, it became clear that they would not be able to write a victory and success story in Zap.
He wants to get the Kurds out of Rojava

As I mentioned before, Rojava can also benefit from this, and oppressed peoples and powers with liberated lands all over the world can defend themselves against technology. The resistance that developed in Avaşîn, Zap and Metîna is an example of this. It has been seen that we can protect free lands. Our people of North-East Syria and all the peoples of the region can win if they organize themselves resolutely in the underground and surface war within the framework of the Revolutionary People’s War.
