“The invading Turkish state, which wants to bring its policy of genocide against our people to a conclusion, has taken its uninterrupted attacks to eliminate the gains of our people to a new stage with the operations launched on Avaşîn, Zap and Metîna areas on April 24, 2021. With these attacks targeting the occupation of Bashure Kurdistan, they want to take away the gains that our people have made for decades with great effort, sacrifice and cost. The invaders, who calculated that they would achieve this goal by liquidating our party, the PKK, which they saw as the biggest obstacle in front of this dirty plan, encountered the unbreakable Apoist will of the Kurdistan guerrilla. The Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, which did not hesitate for a moment against all the inhuman attacks of the genocidal Turkish state, not only left the enthusiasm of the invaders in their tracks with its historical resistance, but also brought the genocidal Turkish state to the brink of defeat. The Turkish state, which resorted to inhuman practices again and again in order to overcome the blockage it experienced and to realize its invasion plans, carried out an intense attack with chemical weapons against our guerrilla forces, who were resisting heroically in the war tunnels. Our comrades Adil and Azad also took part in the historical and epic resistance in the Werxelê war tunnels, which lasted for months and where great heroism took place. These esteemed comrades, who fought in the same positions as Cumali and Çavrê, did not give way to the enemy, and despite being exposed to chemical weapons attacks for months, they did not compromise their militant stance and persisted in their resistance. Our comrades Adil and Azad, who witnessed the martyrdom of many of their comrades, made these martyrdoms the basis for more struggle. It has become clear that both of our comrades, with whom we lost contact after the massive explosions and intense chemical weapons attacks by the enemy on September 26, 2021, have passed away.

ADIL QAŞURİ
One of Botan’s deep-rooted and patriotic tribes, the Qaşûrî tribe, has embraced our struggle since the beginning of our freedom struggle, treated it as their own struggle and added hundreds of their valuable children to the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle for this. After each martyrdom; they recruited their most valiant sons to the guerrilla ranks so that the struggle of our martyrs would continue and their weapons would not be left on the ground. Our comrade Adil, who is a member of this precious tribe who raised his children with the resistance culture of Botan, was born in a patriotic family. Thanks to the deep patriotic awareness of the tribe he belongs to and the environment he lives in, our party heard about the PKK and the freedom guerrilla at an early age and became attached to it with great admiration. Like every Kurdish child, our comrade Adil dreamed of being a guerrilla against the atrocities committed by the enemy and wanted to avenge our people. Our comrade Adil, who witnessed the attacks and massacres of the enemy against our people during his youth, has a word to say this time and the power to put his word into practice. Our comrade Adil, who believes that an option other than fighting against enemy attacks would be betrayal of our people, first took part in youth work. Although he was successful in these studies, he never considered his struggle sufficient. Comrade Adil, who shared his experiences on mountain life with his comrades with whom he was educated, has started to lead from the very first days of his guerrilla. Equipping himself militarily with the training he received, our comrade Adil went to Shengal in the same year to fight against ISIS gangs and avenge our Yazidi people. Despite being a new guerrilla, he was taken as an example and respected by all his comrades with his participation in the struggle. With his courage, he came to the fore in the war against gangs and participated in many moves and actions. As an Apoist militant, he always considered himself responsible for the freedom of our people, struggled with this consciousness. In the face of the tragedy our Êzidî people went through, they became even more angry with the enemy and understood that these sufferings of our people would not end until our country, Kurdistan, was completely liberated. He believed that for this he had to fight more as a militant. For this purpose, he constantly reviewed himself and showed the will to overcome the obstacles in front of his struggle. Comrade Adil, who returned to the mountains of Kurdistan in 2018 after finishing his duty in Shengal, shared his experiences on the battlefield with his comrades. The martyrdom of some of his comrades during the war due to the lack of adequate medical treatment caused our comrade Adil to turn to the field of health. Our comrade Adil, who values the lives of his comrades above everything else, He considered himself responsible and started to receive health education in order to help his wounded comrades and to hold on to life and struggle again. He started his education advantageously with the practical experience he gained during the war, and in a short time he took his place in the war fronts as a competent healthcare professional. He took care of the treatment of his comrades who got sick as well as his comrades who were injured in the protests, and became the “Doctor Adil” of his comrades by becoming more competent in his work day by day. Our comrade Azad was born in Heleb as a member of a deep-rooted and well-known family in Afrin, one of the symbol cities of the Kurdish people’s devotion to their own culture and patriotism. He grew up with the culture and morality he received from his family. For this reason, he has been a loved one around him since his childhood. Our comrade Azad, who grew up under the conditions of the Rojava Freedom Revolution, witnessed all the stages of the revolution that our people knitted. The fact that he witnessed many events, from the most difficult moments of the revolution to the moments of victories, made our comrade Azad grow in his heart along with the revolution. We were amazed at the resistance of our people against the gang attacks, in the face of defeating the gangs by giving the best of the Revolutionary People’s War both in Afrin and in Heleb, Rojava looked with envy at the courage and sacrifices of freedom fighters. He believed that he, like these warriors, must fight for the freedom of our people, and made being a warrior and guerrilla his main goal. The fact that our people faced genocide in the invasion attack of the colonialist Turkish state against Afrin in 2018 deeply affected our comrade Azad. The fact that the enemy is attacking our people everywhere, trying to destroy the gains of our people, and wanting to commit genocide in the person of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla was enough for our comrade Azad to insist on going to the war fronts. Our comrade Azad, who went to Avaşîn to face the enemy attacks with his comrades, could not hide his admiration for Avaşîn’s natural beauties. He believed that this beautiful nature and geography must be protected, and believed that every price would be paid for it.
Our friend Azad, who went to war tunnels with this belief, took part in many works, especially infrastructure works, and made important contributions in the construction of war tunnels. Our comrade Azad, who has been successful in many works thanks to his altruistic and laboring character, has met the attacks launched by the enemy against Avaşîn in the Werxelê Resistance Area. Comrade Azad, who fulfilled his duty of militancy by participating in many actions against the enemy, is aware that he avenges our people and our martyred comrades in every blow he inflicts on the enemy.
