NEWS CENTER – Gerîla TV shared a short video showing the weapon (Zagros-B2 Kurdistan), it was designed by the HPG and it’s extensively used by the guerrillas in their sniper actions. The Zagros-B2 Kurdistan is also being used in Rojava and played a major role in the fight against ISIS.
HPG also have different sized and weapon mm to the Zagros weapon, as well as a similar rifle called Şiyar. Both are made on a small serial production scale by using barrels from DShK and KPV machine guns. Tubular receivers and bolts are fitted to them, making effective single-shot rifles.
