“A revolutionary operation was launched against the invaders in the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area on 26 November at 13:30. Within the framework of the revolutionary operation; The invaders in Girê Martyr Zemani were targeted from three sides and effectively hit with grenades and medium automatic weapons. Our forces, marching against the invaders with a high offensive spirit, have destroyed and conquered 17 enemy positions one by one and punished the invaders inside. Our forces, which completely took control of Girê Martyr Zemani, seized 2 A4 weapons belonging to the enemy, used them against the invaders, and then completely destroyed them. Our forces, which captured the individual weapons and ammunition of the invaders and used them against the enemy, completely destroyed the enemy’s supply depot as well as the positions of the invaders.
Although our comrade Amed, one of the attack column commanders, who marched against the enemy with the spirit of Apoist sacrifice, was wounded, he stated that his comrades under his command should continue the operation and he himself marched on the enemy with injuries. Our comrades Amed, Binevş and Baran, who pioneered this revolutionary operation and were wounded while fighting with great courage, fought selflessly until their last breath and reached martyrdom.
Our forces also targeted and effectively shot the invaders in Girê Martyr Akîf and Girê Martyr Viyan with heavy and individual weapons from both sides, and punished at least 5 invaders.
In this revolutionary operation as a whole; 42 invaders were punished together with their commanders. At the same time, 17 positions, 2 A4 guns, 1 grenade launcher, 1 supply depot, 2 mobesse camera systems, many weapons and military equipment were completely destroyed. Over the invaders, 4 MPT-55 infantry rifles, 4 MPT-55 riflescopes, 1 grenade launcher, 1 pointer, 1 custom-made sniper gun, 1 thermal scope, 1 phone, 1 phone with the name Oğuzhan Alp on it. and 3 power supplies were confiscated.
The invaders tried to stop the advance of our forces by heavily bombing the operation area with howitzers, mortars and warplanes during and after the revolutionary operation, but they were unsuccessful.”
3 MARTYRS IN THE OPEARTION
“In the statement we made on November 28, 2022, we stated that a comprehensive revolutionary operation was carried out against the invaders positioned in the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area in Metina on November 26, and that 42 invaders were punished and many military materials were seized in this revolutionary operation. We shared with our people and the public the information that our comrades Amed, Binevş and Baran, who took part in this revolutionary operation with a self-sacrificing style, went over the enemy positions, punished the invaders and fought bravely until their last breath, that they were martyred.
Our comrades fell as martyrs as a result of the chemical weapons attacks, which the enemy has no moral value and is prohibited by international law, but used recklessly. This revolutionary operation was carried out as a revenge operation as a requirement of devotion to the memory of all our comrades who were martyred by banned bombs and chemical weapons in the person of our comrade Nuri Yekta, Member of the Metina State Command. This revolutionary operation has been the most concrete expression of Apoist self-deprecating militancy, devotion to the truth of martyrs and comradeship. Our comrades Amed, Binevş and Baran, who are exemplary Apoist militants and commanders with their lives, took their stance to the top by leading the battlefield and entering the enemy positions one by one. These heroic comrades, who set out with great ambition and determination, fought with a superhuman effort under the most merciless conditions in order to realize their high claims and determination. Despite his serious injuries, he did not take a step back, continued the revolutionary operation, fought until he conquered all the positions of the invaders, and valiantly attained martyrdom.
We extend our condolences to the esteemed patriotic families of our comrades Amed, Binevş and Baran, who are the most concrete examples of the Apoist will, self-sacrifice, high spirit of attack and the commanders who pioneered the guerrilla style of the new era, and to all our people. Our comrade Amed grew up in such a culture, in a patriotic family and environment. The family of our comrade Amed, originally from the village of Fîs, where our Party PKK was founded, He was exposed to the fascist Turkish state’s policies of village burning and destruction and had to migrate to the center of Amed. For this reason, our comrade Amed, who was born and grew up in the center of Amed, focused on the reasons for longing for his own land, brought it to consciousness and felt great anger against the Turkish state. In the process of self-government resistance, he closely witnessed the barbaric attacks developed by the Turkish state against the legitimate demands of our people. Our comrade Binevş was born in Şax, the patriotic district of Wan, in a family belonging to the Êzdînan tribe. Comrade Binevş, who has been listening to the epic stories of our Party PKK from an early age, had a great interest in the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla. In her youth, this curiosity turned into a search for freedom. In particular, the status of slavery imposed on women by the system and seeing women only as a commodity, the genocidal Turkish state’s awareness of the genocidal policies against our people, and the participation of close relatives in the guerrilla ranks determined the address of our comrade Binevş’s search. As a young Kurdish woman, she felt responsible for the freedom of our people and decided to join the guerrilla ranks in order to fulfill these responsibilities in the best and most effective way.
Our comrade Binevş, who joined the guerrilla ranks in 2014, came to the fore with her hardworking and self-sacrificing qualities, and due to these characteristics, she was able to quickly integrate with the guerrilla and mountain life. Our comrade Binevş received herfirst training in the field of Zap, also made her first practice of guerrillaism in this field. She was an experienced and competent YJA Star guerrilla, stayed in the Zap area for about 2 years, and later moved to the Cîlo area. She took part in many actions there and played an important role in dealing a blow to the enemy. Although she was seriously injured for a period, she recovered in a short time with her strong will and continued his revolutionary duties again. Afterwards, our comrade Binevş went to the Xakurkê area and was involved in the works against the enemy, this time in a more sharpened way. She especially resisted the enemy’s attacks against the Xakurkê area with high morale and courage, and led the enemy to take heavy blows. Comrade Binevş, who was injured again during the war in Xakurkê, where he took part by showing an example of great sacrifice with the energy of his youthful spirit and anger towards the enemy, still did not leave the battlefield.
Comrade Binevş, who gained a certain military experience and succeeded in becoming a leading YJA Star commander candidate, wanted to develop herself ideologically as well, and made efforts in this direction. In order to carry out this concentration and efforts more systematically, she was involved in military and ideological trainings. During her education, she had deep concentrations on the Ideology of Women’s Freedom. In this sense, she has developed herself in the line of free women and has a stance that is equivalent to her pioneering mission. At the same time, it deepened its concentration on the guerrilla warfare tactics of the new era and concentrated on using these tactics more richly against the enemy. Our comrade Binevş moved to the Metîna area after the training process, mostly participated in the activities in the Girê Hakkarî area. He came to the fore with his self-sacrifice and laboring personality in this field and made an important effort to complete the infrastructure of the war. Our comrade Binevş mastered all the details of the Girê Hakkarî area, took a similar stance as a YJA Star guerrilla to the leadership mission and became one of the young commanders of the new era.
Against the enemy’s attacks on the Girê Hakkarî area, from the very first periods of the war, a self-sacrificing spirit, a great will and the mind of the free women’s command went against the enemy. In this sense, Girê Hakkarî has made an important effort to perpetuate the resistance in the area. As a leading YJA Star commander, she wanted to take part in the revolutionary operation with great self-sacrifice, insistence and desire to liquidate the enemy in the Girê Hakkarî Resistance Area, which she created with the blood and effort of many of our comrades. Our comrade Baran, who has the chance to grow by recognizing the line of resistance and victory, has taken his place in the struggle from an early age. The fact that our brother Martyr Çirav Botan (Cemal Oğuz), who joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle in 2004, was a self-defeating commander of Hêzên Taybet and was martyred in Sêrt during the Self-Government Resistance in 2016, is in the ranks of freedom, has always made our comrade Baran have a great interest in the guerrilla. Our comrade, who took part in the struggle more effectively when he was studying at the Mechanical Department of Siirt University and started to get to know Leader Apo’s philosophy of freedom closely, participated in youth activities and put forth great effort to raise awareness of Kurdish youth against the dirty policies of the colonial Turkish state. Our comrade, who was exposed to intense attacks by the Turkish state during this period, was detained many times and was arrested in 2012. Our comrade Baran, who resisted in the dungeons of the colonialists for 14 months, improved himself more and increased his determination to fight. Our comrade Baran, whose close family has many members of the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle, As an honorable Kurdish youth, he joined the guerrilla ranks in 2014 by giving the necessary response to the intimidation and dissuasion attacks of the fascist Turkish state.
