NEWS CENTER – The revolutionary and egalitarian women of Rojhilat Kurdistan have launched a call for more organizing, translated by the operators of Lower Class Magazine’s Telegram channel.
In the call it says:
“Women’s oppression is a spark, one of the driving engines and one of the main fuels of #Jina’s revolutionary uprising. Individual women play an important and leading role in this movement, but this is not enough, for the safeguard of preserving women’s achievements can only lie in the creation of the Independent Mass Organization of Women.
There is concern that our perspectives and demands will be overshadowed by the subversive movement due to the lack of organized women. Again, as with the 1979 uprising, a “at the dawn of liberty the square of women’s rights is empty” could emerge. For this reason, the conspiratorial networks and also the mass movements of egalitarian women try to formulate the main demands of women and turn these demands into everyday slogans of freedom-loving women and men. This is intended to set the liberation of women as one of the main goals of the current revolutionary movement.
The clear and progressive demands of women sharpen the demarcation of revolutionary forces from reactionary and misogynist tendencies. Progressive and organized women will always be a lever on the neck of the defenders of patriarchy and capitalism, a stepping stone to the cause of freedom and equality. Conspiratorial networks of egalitarian women are already trying to prepare the mental prerequisites and the first foundations for mass organizations of women in order to quickly create an independent organization of women given the right balance of power and given opportunities. Progressive women and men in society will not settle for less than full equality between men and women! They think, that freedom is not possible without equality and that in order to achieve this freedom it is necessary to create one of the most important tools of struggle, namely the mass organization of women. We, the revolutionary and egalitarian women, call on all freedom-loving men and women to support these goals in any way we can and call on committees of three to five egalitarian women in schools, parent and family circles, universities, hospitals, workshops, factories and in neighborhoods and establish villages.
Suggestions for practical activities of the conspiratorial committees of revolutionary and egalitarian women in the current situation:
1- Organization of committees of three to five women in schools, parent and family circles, universities, hospitals, workshops and factories, towns, villages and urban areas..
2- Beyond supporting the movement, egalitarian slogans should be emphasized and strengthened at protest rallies in schools, universities, work centers, neighborhoods and streets.
3- Let’s fight sexist and reactionary slogans, misogyny and misogynistic slurs in society.
4- Let’s articulate women’s demands through posters and by posting group videos and photos in closed and open spaces (faces must be unrecognizable!), performances, distribution of tracts, announcements and other artistic forms and protest initiatives.
5- Let’s explain the concrete demands of women in the form of notes, video clips, wall newspapers, etc.
6- Let’s write progressive slogans on the walls and defend women’s rights and demands.
7- With these activities we should increase the level of mental preparation of women and emphasize the need to create an independent women’s organization as soon as possible.
Long live the mass organization of women
