NEWS CENTER – In the face of intensified attacks on Kurdistan by the Turkish and Iranian states, internationalists from India have released a video message in solidarity with Kurdish society.
They made the following statement:
“On November 19, Turkey launched an intensified military operation. This came in the wake of the large-scale protests and revolution in Rojhilat and Iran under the call of “Jin Jiyan Azadî”, against which the Iranian state has also launched aggressive attacks.
We send a message of solidarity from India to Kurdistan. The bombing of civilians, defense forces, hospitals, ambulances and food deliveries, the use of chemical weapons, and the detention and killing of demonstrators show that these are attacks on free life and democracy. We say: We stand with Kurdistan!
In many cities in India, our will to protest has been suppressed. When we saw all the actions from Kurdistan and different parts of Europe, we realized that we need to show our support for the Kurdish society from afar as well. A lot of strength for everyone who is now in Kurdistan.
We call on friends around the world to show their support. The time to act is now. Serkeftin û bijî berxwedan!”
