MINBIC- In the city of Minbic in north-eastern Kurdistan, a central demonstration was held yesterday under the leadership of the Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger and the Yekîtiya Jinên Ciwan with the youth from the liberated regions such as Tebqa, Dêra Zor and Minbić to protest the ongoing war crimes of the Turkish occupiers to protest against the guerrillas of freedom.

The crowd began their demonstration at the Sebeh Behrat roundabout and ended at the stadium in the city of Minbij. The young participants constantly shouted slogans that welcomed the heroic resistance of the guerrillas and expressed their solidarity with them. The placards they carried read “Join the freedom fight”, “Revenge” or “The supporters of chemical war crimes will be held accountable” and the youths carried pictures of the freedom guerrillas recently killed in chemical weapon attacks. Posters from Rêber APO were shown, as well as flags from HPG and YJA Star. Arriving at the stadium, the demonstration turned into a rally.

After a minute’s silence in memory of the fallen fighters of the revolution in Kurdistan, speeches were held.

RÊBER APO IS RESISTANT

Young Ferhat Hesen spoke on behalf of Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger and began his speech by drawing attention to the ongoing isolation against Rêber APO. He said: “The occupying Turkish state wants to break the will of the Kurdish people by isolating Öcalan. That is why Rêber APO is resisting this isolation.”

THE USE OF CHEMICAL WEAPONS SHOWS YOUR WEAKNESS

Hesen also addressed the use of chemical and banned weapons by the occupying Turkish state against the guerrillas and concluded: “The Turkish state trusts modern technology and banned and chemical weapons. They attack the guerrilla with these weapons, that doesn’t show their strength but their weakness compared to the guerrilla. The forbidden weapons show their lack of strength.”

THE GUERILLA STANDS UP TO AND BEATS CHEMICAL WEAPONS

Speaking to the guerrilla resistance, Hesen said: “Despite all kinds of banned and chemical weapons, the guerrilla persists in the resistance. Every day they inflict heavy blows on the occupiers.”

WE CELEBRATE OUR PIONEER ROLE

Finally, Ferhat Hesen addressed the attacks by Turkey against the areas of north-eastern Syria and made it clear that these attacks cannot be considered separately from the attacks against the guerrillas, as they are linked. Hesen said: “Whatever happens, we will not step back. We swear revenge. We as youth raise our pioneering role.”

After Hesen’s speech, Fatma Tebqa spoke on behalf of the Zemîbya Assembly and drew attention to the Turkish occupation attacks. She said: “The Turkish state wants to realize its dreams of the Ottoman Empire.”

After the speeches, a silent play was performed, drawing attention to the use of chemical and prohibited weapons. After the play, the protest action ended with loud slogans.
