Today, in the person of Heval Helbest and Heval Baz, I congratulate all freedom fighters and our comrades who fought in war tunnels and battlefields.
Leader Apo and the PKK’s ideas
As it is known, November is a very meaningful and holy month for the Kurdish people and the peoples of the world, as it is the founding date of the PKK. November 1 is the anniversary of Kobanê, the international day of Kobanê, the day the world stood up to support Kobanê before the Kobanê attacks. November 25 is the Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, that is, a day for our spiritual struggle every day against the current mentality of the PKK movement, the PAJK women’s movement, and the patriarchal mentality. There are attacks on women in every sense, both spiritually and physically, and this is the day of struggle against this, and we see that the life revolution, where women create themselves the most, develops under the leadership of women. This is the ideas of Leader Apo and the PKK.
They fight fiercely and they resist

Our friends in the war tunnels in Xakurkê, Zap, Avaşîn and Metina are resisting all attacks. They tirelessly fight and resist the attacks of the enemy, fearlessly, selflessly. Because the freedom guerrilla has a claim and a target. Therefore, they do not recognize any obstacles in front of them. We saw the level of resistance and the sacrifices made in the person of 17 of our friends who were martyred by chemical gas.
Guerrilla Leader is getting stronger with the resistance and thoughts of APO
The public can see that the Turkish state is facing the biggest obstacle to break the will of the guerrilla. It is not only the Turkish state that attacks the guerrilla, but the Turkish state is used as a tool to immerse the Kurdish people’s identity in all brutal attacks. With the opinion of Leader APO, who has been imprisoned in the Imrali dungeon for 24 years, today he is resisting and fighting with a free thought not only for the Kurdish people, but also for the peoples of the world. All the oppressed people are getting stronger with the resistance and thoughts of the guerrilla Leader APO and are fighting against the Turkish state. We see that the Turkish state is having a hard time. In order to break the will of the guerrilla stemming from this coercion, it carries out all brutal attacks against the guerrilla in order to bury the identity of the Kurdish people under the ground.
Not only the Turkish state, but all international states support the Turkish state. The Turkish state is used as a tool. They want to break the will of the guerrilla with the weapons and chemical gases they have given to the Turkish state. But the freedom guerrillas, the Kurdish people and the rights of the world are resisting and struggling with the ideas of Leader Apo, who has been in the Imrali Dungeon for 24 years. The guerrilla gains strength from Leader Apo’s resistance and is fighting against the Turkish state.

The Turkish state wants to cut off communication with Leader Apo by imposing a disciplinary punishment on Leader Apo. But everyone knows that these methods cannot separate us from each other. Because our relationship with him is an intellectual and ideological relationship. Leader Apo may be physically distant from us, but we want to protect our people, the peoples of the world, against the attacks that follow Leader Apo’s footsteps at every moment. Our friends are waging this war with this idea today. They are resisting with great will against all the difficulties that exist.
Leader Apo says, “The biggest obstacle is the person himself”. Our friends know no barriers and show great sacrifice by surpassing their own personalities at this point. That’s why the power of the guerrilla and the serhildans that our people started with the slogan “Jin Jiyan Azadi” as a result of the murder of Jina Emin in Rojhilatê Kurdistan today take their source from Leader Apo. from the establishment of the PKK; They are inspired by November 27. Because before that, the invading states were attacking the Kurdish people with all their might, and our people were between existence and non-existence.
It started with 21-22 people and today we see that it has become the voice of the Kurdish people in the world.
Some said there were Kurds, some said there weren’t. In 1978, with the congress held in Amed on 27 November under the leadership of Leader Apo and leading cadres, the Kurdish people experienced a resurrection and today was the day of rebirth for the Kurdish people. This was not just the founding of a party. It started with 21-22 people and today we see that it has become the voice of the Kurdish people in the world. The youth of Kurdistan has been joining the ranks of the party since the day it emerged. Not only the youth of Kurdistan but also the youth of the world see their freedom in this idea. That’s why November 27 is of great importance for us. Every person and every guerilla living in Kurdistan treats this day as a birthday. Because November 27 has come so far with great difficulties.
Today, we see a great struggle being waged everywhere to protect it. The duty of every young person is to protect the present, to protect the ideas of Leader Apo. Leader Apo gave the lead of life to the youth. The guerrillas fighting on the battlefields today are all young fellows. They resist with the spirit of youth. Therefore, if we define ourselves as such and call the youth the power of the revolution, the creative power of the revolution, this is our duty.
First of all, every young person should protect Leader Apo. Because Leader Apo dedicated his whole life to us. No leader of any country has resisted for so many years for his people, for his youth. One sees this clearly. Leader Apo has been resisting for the youth to protect his people for 24 years, and he has not moved away from this thought until today. Therefore, we should not find the right to live comfortably in ourselves. If we are to accept a comfortable life for ourselves, then we must physically liberate our Leader and embrace his efforts.
Apart from that, there are intense attacks on the mountains of Kurdistan, its nature, our friends and women. That is why as young people we should not accept a comfortable life for ourselves. We should not be afraid of anything. Again, if you can’t speak your own language in your own country, if you can’t live with your own identity and can’t express yourself, there’s no point in studying. If a teacher says I am a teacher, but if he cannot teach the children of this country in Kurdish, he cannot describe freedom. If a woman says that she continues with my life, and especially at a time when the attacks against women are so intense, she should not accept this life and fulfill her responsibilities.
Young women are the people who will protect the freedom revolution the most.
There have been many heroic women in history. That’s why women should prefer a revolutionary life to an ordinary life. Your friend Beritan, your friend Zilan and those who were martyred today should have their weapons removed and they should join the freedom war. Today is the day of resistance and struggle. It is the day to protect Leader Apo, the martyrs and free life. For this reason, young people should raise their weapons of martyrdom by giving their direction to the ranks of the struggle without fear of anything. Leader Apo “Our revolution is a revolution of conscience.” says. If we are going to define such a revolution, then we need to own the revolution of conscience. Today, all ruling states and powers have closed their eyes and ears against our revolution of conscience. That’s why young women are the people who will protect the freedom revolution the most. Our friends were martyred by chemical gases. We’ve all seen these images. These images moved us, but this feeling is not the sentimentality in classical society. This is hatred against the enemy. We must avenge these friends.
PKK is a milestone for the peoples
Under the leadership of our party, we can realize the freedom of our society, our country and the oppressed peoples. Because our duty is not only to liberate the Kurdish society. Today, we see that the resistance that started in Rojhilatê Kurdistan has extended to the Azeris as far as Balochistan. They all fight hand in hand. The source of all of these is Leader Apo, the establishment of the PKK and 27 November. The PKK is a milestone for the peoples. That’s why, as young people, we must protect today. The way to protect this is to remove the weapons of our martyred friends and join the freedom war.
