HAMBURG – The young, militant women from TekoJIN and revolutionary youth from TCŞ, together with activists from the feminist organization “Gemeinsam Kampfen” , saw the state general meeting of the Greens party, today, November 19, at 2:00 p.m. in the Wilhelmsburg community center, as an opportunity to draw attention to the current situation in Kurdistan and the chemical poison gas attacks by the occupying Turkish state against the guerrilla freedom fighters.
Together with Anja Flach, who gave a speech, the young activists showed up pictures of the guerrilla fighters on stage who had fallen to Şehîd as a result of the attacks by the occupying Turkish state with chemical weapons and prohibited bombs, and distributed leaflets.
Anja Flach referred to the war crimes of the Turkish occupying state in southern Kurdistan against the guerrillas, using chemical weapons and banned bombs and referred to the abundance of published video material, images and the report of the medical peace organization IPPNW. They called on the Hamburg Greens to persuade the federal government to submit a request to the OPCW to investigate chemical war crimes in the region. The speech received applause from many party members.
In the course of the campaign, smoke-generating substances were used to make the members and guests of the meeting aware of poisonous gases. During the national assembly of the Greens, an Iranian delegation was also present, informing the party members about the uprisings in Iran and calling for support.
Afterwards, the members of TekoJIN and TCŞ took part in a demonstration of the Iranian community at 3:00 p.m. in Sternschatze, Hamburg, which was protesting on the international day against violence against women and pointed out the poison gas attacks of the Turkish occupying state against the guerrillas of freedom in Kurdistan attentive.
During the action, the Kurdish youths and young women shouted slogans such as “Jin, Jiyan, Azadî” and “High international solidarity” to which the other activists of the demonstrators loudly agreed.
