NEWS CENTER – People in Prato, Italy, came together last night to demonstrate in solidarity to the Rojava Revolution and it’s achievements. Turkish fascist state attacks against Rojava revolution continue. While the Turkish fascist leader announces that he will launch a full-scale invasion of the territory, unmanned aircraft, warplanes and artillery continue to damage social infrastructures around the region such as hospitals, oil stations, electrical networks and etc.On the attacks reported on the 22 of November, there were 2 martyrs announced and at least 3 people injured.
On the 23 of November – There were 47 attacks with warplanes, 20 with reconnaissance planes, and 3,761 attacks with howitzers, artillery and other weapons. In these attacks, Rojava – Northern and Eastern Syria in general, from Derik to Qamishlo, Hesekê, Kobanê, Derezor and Shehba were targeted. The results of these attacks so far; 5 Kurdish fighters were martyred in Afrin. While 6 YPG fighters were martyred in the regions east of the Euphrates, 15 civilians were martyred (11 in Derik, 2 in Til Temir and 2 in Mekmen). In addition, homes, hospitals, schools and social service institutions such as fuel stations and granaries were also damaged.

“Today we took part in a demonstration in the city of Prato (central Italy, near Florence) as Si Cobas union, together with other local organisations. Prato is considered a provincial city, but in reality it is the second largest textile district in Europe. The clothes that are produced in Prato, under extremely exploitative conditions, are sold in markets all over the world.
For the past four years, the workers in the textile district have been organising themselves in a union movement that is growing every day. The district workers are almost all foreigners: they come mainly from Pakistan (azadi – freedom – is a word that unites us!) but also from Senegal, Nigeria, Afghanistan… We fight together against segregation and slavery.
The heart of this movement is the fight for a better life, for community, for education and training, for democracy, for self-organization and mutual solidarity. All this makes us feel very close to the Aanes revolution, ideally and practically. In the video you can hear people chanting “Jin Jiyan Azadi” and “Tocca uno Tocca tutti”, which means that an injury to one is an injury to all.
Today, together with other comrades in Prato, we have given a first small immediate response to what has been happening in the last few days because of the Turkish fascist state, and we are sure that in the coming weeks the mobilisation will grow in our
