LONDON – Following the urgent call from the TCŞ, the Kurdish People’s Assembly and the Jiyan Women’s Assembly, a demonstration was organized in London, starting in front of the Kurdish Democratic Society Center in Harringay and heading towards the Wood Green Library.
The flags of the YPG, YPJ and KJK were carried during the demonstration. In addition, freedom flags of Chairman Abdullah Öcalan and Rojava were displayed. Under the slogans “Turkish troops out of Kurdistan”, “Terrorist Turkish state”, “Terrorist Erdogan” and “We are the PKK, we are the PKK” people protested through the streets of London and expressed their anger at the attacks of the occupying Turkish state expressed on the Kurdish areas.
On behalf of Tevgera Ciwanên Şoreşger, Çekdar Amara called on all youth to take action against the attacks on Rojava by Turkish fascism and to prevent the planned occupation of a 700 km line of operations in north-eastern Syria.
