Internationalists demonstrated in Bologna against Erdogan’s imperialist attacks on Kurdistan

On Tuesday, November 29th, people from the city of Bologna, Italy took to the streets to greet and support Kurdish society in its resistance struggle against Erdogan's imperialist regime.

BOLOGNA –  On Tuesday, November 29, people from the city of Bologna, Italy took to the streets to greet and support Kurdish society in its resistance struggle against Erdogan’s imperialist regime.

The demonstration, supported by the social spaces and collectives Làbas, Tpo, Crash, Vag, Berneri, Rete Jin Bologna, Mujeres Libres Bologna, Non Una di Meno Bologna, marched through the streets of the university district shouting “Jin Jiyan Azadî” and “Erdogan Assassin” .

Flags of the PKK, YPJ, and Rêber APOs were displayed during the demonstration. In addition, some activists designed a mural with the inscription “Jin Jiyan Azadî” in front of one of the most visited libraries and study rooms in Bologna.

The demonstration arrived under the two towers and via microphone the citizens were asked to inform themselves about what is happening in Kurdistan and to be ready to take to the streets whenever called to do so.
