NEWS CENTER – On October 18 HSM announced the martyrdom of 17 freedom fighters due to the use of chemical weapons by the invading, fascist Turkish state. It was reported that “It has been determined by us that he used banned bombs and chemical weapons 2467 times during the 6-month war period between 14 April and 14 October 2022. The identity information of our 27 comrades who were martyred in these attacks has been made public in previous statements.”
Our agency has been constantly publishing the videos, reports and information related to the war crimes of the Turkish fascist state and from the perspective of remembering the heroes of this historic resistance, we will be publishing about the 17 martyred guerrillas over the next few days in order to remember their struggles, their conviction with the revolution and Serokatî and denounce such war crimes.

Our comrade Zinarîn was born in a patriotic family in the Sêgirkê town of Sirnex. However, she had to grow up there because her family immigrated to Mersin after her family did not accept the protectionist policies of the enemy. Our comrade Zinarîn, who insisted more on preserving the consciousness of Kurdishness due to the deep patriotism of her family and the attacks of the enemy against our people, has therefore experienced deep contradictions. Especially because of the enemy’s genocidal policies and practices on this basis, he was angry with the enemy and sought a struggle.
On this basis, it first became involved in youth work and took its place in the freedom struggle of our people. During the period when she was working, Leader Apo and our Party had the opportunity to get to know the PKK reality more closely, and began to seek the answer to the contradictions she experienced in the philosophy of the Leadership. Our comrade Zinarîn, who was especially aware of the gender contradiction in society and the status of slavery assigned to women, has never accepted this status for herself. On the contrary, she entered into more struggle and tried to ensure her freedom. She had a successful practice during her working period, thought that the work she carried out was not enough to liberate our people and believed that she should wage a more effective struggle. For this, she turned her face to the mountains of Kurdistan and joined the guerrilla ranks in 2014. After reaching the mountains of Kurdistan, our comrade Zinarîn stayed in Komalên Ciwan studies for a while, then moved to the press area and took part in free press activities. Our comrade Zinarîn, who realized herself by educating herself ideologically from moment to moment, tried to be worthy of the tradition of our comrades Gurbetelli Ersöz and Deniz Fırat. Although our comrade Zinarîn carried out her work successfully, she wanted to go to the hot war fronts because of the existing war reality. For this, she believed that first of all she had to strengthen her military aspect.
On this basis, she specialized in sabotage, one of the most effective tactics of the new era, and switched to Zap. Our comrade Zinarîn, who became very conscious of the aims of the operations carried out by the enemy, acted with the awareness that our people were being tried to be destroyed in the person of our Movement. For this reason, our comrade Zinarîn, conscious of her historical responsibility, took the positions of resistance and fought against the enemy with great determination. By leading many successful actions against the invading Turkish army, YJA Star displayed a practice equivalent to the mission assigned to it by the guerrilla. Our comrade Zinarîn, who participates in every work with great enthusiasm and morale with her belief in success, fought until her last breath against the banned bomb and chemical weapons attacks carried out by the enemy and reached martyrdom by playing his historical role.
