SDF: The massacres of the occupying Turkish state will not go unanswered
The statement is as follows:
“The occupying Turkish state has been making preparations for a comprehensive attack on Northern and Eastern Syria and Rojava Kurdistan for a long time. In particular, they used the provocation that they carried out in Istanbul as an excuse and threatened to attack our region. On the basis of these preparations, on the night of November 19 at 12:00, they carried out an extensive and brutal air attack. In this attack, the areas of Derik, Dirbesi, Abu Rasen, Kobani, Til Rifat and Shehba were targeted. The airstrikes continued intermittently until the morning.
As a result of these attacks, a large massacre took place in the town of Derik, in the village of Tekil Beqil. In the village of Teqil Beqil, an employee of the cable agency was martyred in the initial attack. After the initial attack, when the people wanted to go to the air for the wounded, the warplanes of the occupying Turkish army once again targeted the people and caused a great massacre. As a result, 11 civilians were martyred and 6 civilians were injured. Also, the place of distribution of electricity suffered a lot of damage.
In the area of Dirbêsi, 2 members of the guard who were guarding grain warehouses and agricultural areas were martyred, and one of our soldiers was martyred at the Abu Rasen line.
In Kobanê, 3 civilians were injured as a result of extensive air attacks. Many citizens’ properties were damaged.
More than 15 soldiers of the Syrian regime lost their lives in these attacks.
With these attacks, the occupying Turkish state once again revealed its genocidal and fascist face that it is hostile to the people and will not tolerate the peace of the region and the harmonious life of the people of North and East Syria and Rojava Kurdistan. This attack was not only against the Kurdish people. The target of this attack was all parts of Northern and Eastern Syria and Rojava Kurdistan.
As the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), as we have protected our region and people from the attacks of ISIS and the occupying Turkish state, from now on we will continue this historic mission with great determination and determination. These massacres of the occupying Turkish state will not go unanswered. Effective and necessary answers will be given at appropriate times and places.
We believe that our people will strengthen their unity, solidarity and determination against these brutal attacks of the occupying Turkish state until the end. It will develop its connection with its land and the stability of the region more than ever and take a strong stand against the brutal attacks of the Turkish occupation and its partners.
We express our condolences to all our people and the families of the martyrs who were martyred in this massacre and we repeat our promise that we will take care of their work, struggle and memory. Also, we wish a speedy recovery to all the injured.”
