Despite all the attacks of the invaders, it gave great blows to the colonial dreams of the enemy by fighting a great willpower. The invading Turkish army suffered heavy losses in the historical resistance carried out by mobile guerrilla teams and tunnel warfare style. Our comrades, who turn every inch of Medya Defense Zones from Avaşîn to Heftanîn into an area of resistance and are in a fierce struggle against the enemy, continue this resistance with great effort and sacrifice. Our comrade Rêvan was born in Amed, which is known for its honorable resistance against the invaders in the history of Kurdistan and has always given strength to the freedom struggle of our people with the mass serhildans she developed. Our people of Amed, which the invading Turkish state specifically targeted and wanted to be removed from the struggle with the policies of assimilation and denial, did not compromise on their stance in favor of freedom. Our comrade, who grew up witnessing this tradition of resistance and the brutal attacks carried out by the invaders, became politicized by taking part in the struggle from an early age. The fact that she joined the ranks of the struggle from her close circle and grew up in a family and environment that adheres to patriotic values enabled our comrade Rêvan to establish a strong bond with Leader Apo’s ideology of freedom. She saw the reality of the system’s putting women into the service of men by breaking their will and never accepting this. She took great interest in the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla, which is waging a historical struggle for the freedom of our people in the mountains of Kurdistan despite the most difficult conditions, in the face of the system’s imposition of an identityless and rootless life against our people, women and Kurdish youth. Our comrade, who started to get to know the ideas of Leader Apo more closely by taking part in youth activities, has constantly increased her level of consciousness and determination. As an honorable young Kurdish woman, she never accepted to remain silent against the extensive denial and destruction attacks against our people, especially in Rojava and Shengal in 2014, and joined the ranks of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla to respond to the invaders.
Our comrade Rêvan, who successfully completed her new fighter training, started her first guerrilla practice by moving to the Cîlo area, the most difficult geography of the Zagros, with the experience and ideological knowledge she gained. Our comrade Rêvan, who, as a young Kurdish woman, led the guerrilla for three years in the Zagros, which did not allow the invaders to pass, has turned into a competent guerrilla. Our comrade, was at the forefront in the war against the invaders as well as in life, is based on successfully completing all her duties as a pioneer YJA Star militant. Our comrade Xwînda was born in Hesekê, which is known for its devotion to Kurdistani values and joined the resistance ranks from the first day by embracing the Rojava Freedom Revolution. Our comrade, who grew up in a patriotic family and environment, whose close circle and family participated in the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle, closely witnessed the oppression and persecution of our people in Rojava by the Baath regime. Our people of Rojava, who follow Leader Apo’s philosophy of freedom, did not hesitate to pay the price with the revolution process, entered into an active struggle and gained their freedom after a historical resistance. Our people in Rojava, who have ruined all the dirty policies of ISIS, Al Nusra gangs and the fascist states that support them, have shown the whole world that no power can stand against the will of freedom. As a young Kurdish woman who grew up in the Rojava Freedom Revolution, our comrade Xwînda fought against barbarian gangs by taking part in the front line. Our comrade, who sees the reality of the liberation of our people by leading the Rojava Freedom Revolution, which is ignored in the system, has seen the power of Leader Apo’s philosophy of freedom and is connected with a great bond. Our comrade Êriş was born in the Germav village of Elkê as a member of a patriotic family belonging to the deep-rooted and cultured Gewda tribe of Kurdistan. Known for its patriotism, the village of Germav contributed many of its children to the freedom struggle of our people by joining the ranks of the Kurdistan Freedom Struggle. For this reason, our patriotic village has been subjected to constant enemy pressure. The family of our comrade Êrîş had to migrate from their village and settle in Wan due to enemy pressure. Comrade Êrîş felt great anger against the enemy because he was at an age to understand these policies of the enemy. Although he showed his anger by not going to the system schools, he is aware of the fact that he has to fight more. Comrade Êrîş worked in youth activities for a while. At the same time, he went to the metropolises of Turkey to contribute to the livelihood of his family and began to see the state’s view of the Kurdish people more clearly there. Because of this, his anger towards the enemy increased more and he thought that he should deepen his struggle even more. Our comrade Êrîş, who was affected by the participation of his close circle in the guerrilla ranks and the martyrdom, thought that he should also join the guerrilla ranks and fulfill his patriotic and revolutionary duties.
On this basis, our comrade Êrîş, who joined the guerrilla ranks in 2012, received his first training in Xakurkê. Due to the intense war conditions, the new fighters had to interrupt their training and took their place in the Şemzînan Revolutionary Campaign. Although he wanted to go to hot war zones, he was assigned to infrastructure works because he had no experience of guerrilla and warfare. Comrade Êrîş, who was impressed by the heroic struggle of his comrades against the invading enemy, and who thinks that this struggle should be worthy and should be answered, supported his comrades with all his might and tried to feel his comrades moment by moment. He was successful in all the work he took part in and gained the trust of his comrades. Comrade Êrîş, who gained great military experience from the Şemzînan Operation, wanted to deepen and strengthen himself further based on this. For this, he transferred to the Martyr Mehmet Goyî Operations School, where he received ideological training as well as general operation training. Our comrade Êrîş, who strengthened himself both militarily and ideologically, wanted to stand by our people’s struggle against the attacks of ISIS and its derivative gangs against our people, and believed that he should stand up for his responsibilities as a Kurdistan revolutionary. On this basis, he became involved in the war against ISIS gangs in 2015 and took part in many moves. He attracted the attention of his comrades with his participation in this war process and became the owner of a militant stance that all his comrades would take as an example. With his participation and stance in the intense war process, he became a sought-after person by all his comrades. Our Comrade Êrîş, who deepened their concentration during the war, was particularly impressed by the stance and comradeship of the leading commanders of Hêzên Taybet, Martyr Şervan Varto and Martyr Bawer Xebat, and wanted to be involved in the work of Hêzên Taybet and was very insistent on this. Hêzên Taybet stated her purpose of participating in her work as to deepen in the philosophy of Leadership, to have a struggle along the lines of Agît and Zîlan, and to walk towards freedom step by step. Our comrade Reşit, who lives every moment with a stance and participation in line with this purpose, has set an example for his comrades with his laboring and humble personality. The Botan field has always led our struggle for freedom with the thousands of bouncers it has brought from its bosom, and in this sense, it has fulfilled its patriotism. This honorable stance of our Botan people has been a source of morale and strength for all our people, and has been instrumental in our people’s resistance against the genocidal enemy. Our comrade Mem was born in a family shaped in this folk reality. Since his family is patriotic, our comrade Mem has heard about our struggle since he was very young and admired the guerrilla. Like many Kurdish children, he dreamed of becoming a guerrilla when he grew up. Our comrade Mem had to grow up fast like many Kurdish children. The fact that his father was captured by the enemy due to his patriotic duties enabled our comrade Mem to recognize the reality of the enemy as well as to recognize life at a younger age. Our comrade Mem, who had to immigrate to Dilok with his family during his father’s detention process, took on the livelihood of his family and became acquainted with the phenomenon of labor. Contributing to the livelihood of his family with his labor, our comrade Mem believed in the sanctity of the values created with labor. For this reason, he created every moment of his life with labor and created himself with his labor. Since his youth, our comrade Mem’s love of being a guerrilla in his heart has become even darker, but he has not yet seen himself ready for a guerrilla life.

He took part in the actions developed against the enemy and tried to fulfill his militant duties. The construction of the tunnels, which form the basis of our war of honor against the invading Turkish army today, first started in the Heftanîn area. Our comrade Mem, who later moved to the Garê area, took part in the tunnel construction works here as well, and by improving himself day by day, he gained an important experience in the projects and constructions of the tunnels where epics are written today. Our comrade Mem, who has full faith in tunnel wars, one of the important war tactics of the new era, sincerely believed that victory will be won in these tunnels. For this, he participated in the works with great morale and enthusiasm. In addition to the tunnel construction, which requires great effort and sacrifice, he developed himself ideologically day by day and strengthened his comradely relations more and more. He has managed to gain a place in the hearts of all his comrades with his enthusiastic, morale and comradely-loving personality. Our comrade Mem, who has succeeded in creating himself day by day and having a participation in the line of sacrifice, has further embodied this participation by being included in the work of Hêzên Taybet.
