BEHDÎNAN – The HPG press center stated:
“The freedom guerrillas of Kurdistan continue their non-stop struggle against the colonialist, genocidal Turkish army based on the apoist ideology and leadership of our beloved Şehîds. Since April 14, 2022, when the invasion attacks began, our forces have put up an epic resistance while preventing the fascist AKP-MHP regime from achieving its goals by inflicting heavy blows on the invaders. The Fedaî spirit continues to develop its actions in order to expel the occupiers from the Kurdish territories, acting against the enemy with great courage and tactical creativity in the most difficult conditions. With this spirit, awareness and determination, our party has carried out many actions to mark the anniversary of the founding of the PKK,
As a result of the actions carried out by our armed forces, 23 occupiers were fined and 3 injured. At the same time, 6 positions and 2 mine traps were destroyed, 1 Skorsky helicopter and 1 armored vehicle were hit.
The Turkish occupation army has the resistance areas once with banned bombs and four times with chemical weapons. At the same time, it was bombed 6 times with fighter jets, 44 times with attack helicopters, dozens of times with howitzers, tanks, mortars and heavy weapons.”
The actions and attacks are detailed below:
“Within the Revolutionary Movement Cenga Xabûrê Şehîd Savaş Maraş;
- On November 16 at 8:45 p.m., a coordinated guerrilla action was carried out by our mobile teams from 4 directions against the occupiers around the Şehîd Pîrdoğan fighting positions in the Girê Amediyê resistance area. The first action arm, while shelling a position, punished 4 occupiers and destroyed 1 position. The second action arm hit the occupiers’ positions with grenades and individual weapons, punishing 2 occupiers. The third arm of action hit the occupiers with heavy weapons and assassination tactics and punished 6 occupiers. The fourth action arm attacked the attackers’ positions using medium automatic weapons and assassination tactics, punishing 2 attackers and destroying 3 positions. Our troops, who sacrificially advanced against the Turkish occupation soldiers,
- In this action, as far as our forces could clarify, at least 14 attackers were punished and 6 positions were completely destroyed. Our comrades Mîlîtan, Serxwebûn and Nejwan, who fearlessly marched towards the attackers’ positions with an apoistic spirit of sacrifice and great courage, fought to the last bullet and dealt the attackers heavy blows. All three comrades, badly wounded in this action, fought with the enemy to the last breath and achieved martyrdom by detonating their own bombs.
- We express our condolences to the entire welatparêz society of Kurdistan, especially to the families of our comrades Milîtan, Nejwan and Serxwebûn, who have proved with their actions that they will never let the occupation and betrayal get away, marching selflessly against the enemy, as well as of the welatparêz society of Amed and Qoser.

MILÎTAN HEQÎ
Milîtan Heqî was born in Amed-Bismil and grew up in an environment close to the Kurdistan liberation movement. On November 27, 2014, he joined the guerrilla and completed basic training in Metîna. After that he worked for three years on the border line between the territory of Turkey and Iraq. Guerrilla warfare in this area required creativity and military discipline, and Milîtan participated in many successful actions with great courage and intelligence. He was slightly wounded several times. He learned the professional use of various types of weapons and finally became part of the special unit Hêzên Taybet, which requires an explicit willingness to make sacrifices. For Milîtan, however, being “Fedai” not only meant risking one’s own life in an action, but rather a way of life. In 2017 he wrote in his diary:“To live for freedom and die fighting is an honor. We can accept anything, even if our corpses are torn to shreds and dragged across the ground, but living in dignity is not acceptable to us. When the occupation attacks on the Zap, Avaşîn and Metîna regions began, Milîtan fought with revolutionary conviction and “joined the caravan of the fallen as the immortal Fedai commander,” according to the HPG.

NEJWAN MÊRDÎN
Nejwan Mêrdîn was born in Mêrdîn-Qoser. His family and his social environment were close to the Kurdistan liberation movement and he felt sympathy for the PKK even as a child. In 2015 he joined the armed struggle. The fight for Kobanê and the resistance for self-determination in northern Kurdistan were decisive for his decision. He fought ISIS and sustained injuries to his chest, hand, stomach and head. With his fight, he made a significant contribution to liberating several places from IS barbarism. He then came to the mountains and supplemented his military experience with ideological training at the Haki Karer Academy. At the academy, he questioned his own personality and took his first steps as senior commander. Then he went back to practice. During the guerrilla action on 16.

SERXWEBÛN BAZ
Serxwebûn Baz was born in Mêrdîn-Qoser and grew up with Kurdish culture. He got to know the PKK and became active in the youth movement. He was arrested for his political work and was imprisoned for five months. During this time he decided to fight even more radically. The IS attack on Rojava and Shengal in 2014 was decisive for his future life. Like thousands of other people, he went to Rojava and took part in the resistance against the Islamist invasion. He was badly injured twice and continued his fight with even greater determination after recovering. In 2016 he went to the mountains and deepened his knowledge of the ideas of Chairman Abdullah Öcalan. During this time he understood more and more what life inside the PKK means. Later he went to Botan, where he was able to successfully put his military experience into practice. He came back to the Medya Defense Zones for further training. From the training he emerged as the leading commander. Most recently, he fought with great courage in a mobile unit in the Girê Amêdî resistance area.
SKORSKY HELICOPTER CRASHED
- “On November 18th at 09:00 the occupiers in the Girê Cûdî resistance area were shot dead by our mobile teams using an assassination tactic and 1 occupier was punished.
- On November 18, at 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., the attackers in the Girê Cûdî resistance area were shot at twice with heavy weapons and hit by our mobile teams.
- On November 18th at 13.00 the occupiers in the Girê Cûdî resistance area were fired on twice by our mobile YJA Star teams using an assassination tactic and 2 occupiers were punished.
- On November 18 at 5:00 p.m., our mobile teams professionally destroyed 2 mines laid by the attackers near the Şehîd Yunu combat positions in the Girê Cûdî resistance area.
- On November 19 at 01:15, the Skorsky helicopters attempting to land in the Girê Cûdî resistance area were shot down by our mobile teams and 1 Skorsky helicopter was hit.
In the Avaşîn region within the Bazên Zagros Revolutionary Movement;
- On November 18, a group of 10 attackers who had gathered in the church area were subdued by our mobile teams. At 15:10, the attackers, who had gathered around the fire they had started, were fired in a coordinated manner with heavy weapons from two arms. In the effective strikes of our forces, 6 attackers were punished and 3 attackers were wounded.
In the Zap region within the Bazên Zagros Revolutionary Movement;
- On November 18, at 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., the attackers in the Sîda resistance area were hit twice with heavy weapons by our mobile teams.
- On November 18 at 4:00 p.m., a convoy of occupiers traveling from the Sîda region to the Çemço region was fired upon with heavy weapons by our mobile teams. 1 armored vehicle was hit during this action.
- At 4:30 p.m. on November 18, our mobile teams fired heavy weapons at the attackers around the Şehîd Agir positions in the Sîda resistance area.
Attacks by the occupying Turkish army with prohibited bombs and chemical weapons;
- On November 18 at 04:00, the Şehîd Felat positions were bombed 1 time with prohibited bombs.
- On November 18, between 13:00 and 18:00, the Şehîd Felat positions in the Sîda resistance area were bombed four times with chemical weapons.
Attacks by the occupying Turkish army;
- On November 17 and 18, the Gundê Şêlazê area in Metîna, the Sinînê area in Xakurkê and the Girê Cûdî resistance area were bombed six times by warplanes.
- On November 18, the resistance areas of Girê Amediyê and Girê FM were bombed 44 times by helicopter gunships.
- On November 17 and 18, the resistance areas of Çemço, Sîda, Girê Cûdî and Girê FM were bombed dozens of times with howitzers, tanks and heavy weapons.
- On November 18, the Turkish occupation army tried to destroy the fighting positions in the resistance areas of Karker and Çemço with excavators and crushing shovels.”
