BEHDİNAN – In the ceremony that started with a moment of silence for the martyrs of the revolution, Komalên Ciwan Coordination Member Özgür Şerker emphasized that the 44-year PKK struggle has come to this day with great costs.
It was also stated that the PKK movement emerged as a youth movement in the person of Leader Apo, and today the occupying-fascist Turkish state is applying special war methods against the youth of Kurdistan.
While stating that the PKK struggle will continue unabated, the following statements were made;
“The 45th anniversary of our freedom struggle will be enlarged with the spirit, will and faith of the youth and we will crown the 50-year Leadership march with victory in the 45th year of the PKK. The fascist Turkish state should know very well that until the Kurdistan youth exists, until the Apoist youth lives in these lands, there will be no victory for them. It is this spirit that will win, it is the youth spirit of Leader APO that will win. In this way, we will experience great victories in the 45th year of struggle and we will give victory to our patriotic people.”
The ceremony ended with the slogans “Bijî Serok APO, “Bê Serok Jîyan Nabe” and “Jin, Jîyan, Azadi” and halay.
After the guerrilla ceremony, the guerrillas lit a fire, danced halay around it and sang songs, making a magnificent morale.
