NEWS CENTER – With the martyrdom of Amini’s life, the people’s rebellion against the Iranian government in Eastern Kurdistan and Iran started again. According to human rights organizations, between 270 and 320 people, including 30 children, have been killed since September. Demonstrations have spread in nearly 200 cities and tens of thousands of people have been arrested.
On October 26, on the 40th anniversary of Emini’s life, the protests in Eastern Kurdistan entered a new phase. Because the threats and attacks of the regime increased, thousands of people came to the field. Students became leaders of the uprisings in East Kurdistan and Iran. In Sine, Mehabad, Saqiz, Mariwan, Tehran, etc., students of universities and schools continued their riots. On this basis, a group of young men and women of Eastern Kurdistan joined the guerrilla ranks to resist all kinds of pressure and oppression and defend the revolution. “A group of young people and women from Eastern Kurdistan at Sanandaj University joined the ranks of the guerrillas in order to resist all kinds of oppression and protect the women’s freedom revolution that started in Eastern Kurdistan and Iran. The resistance and legitimate struggle of the Kurdish people and the people of Iran against the tyranny of the bloody and patriarchal regime of Iran for 44 years has reached its final stage.
Emini’s life has ignited the hatred of all nations by killing a Kurdish woman. Of course, this is a golden step for the integration of the legitimate demands of the people and their self-organization will lead us to a new horizon. In this situation, the most oppressed sections of society, women and youth, break the pillars of power and lay the foundation of a free life with a historic alliance. The current situation where women’s slogans represent life and freedom. It is the gospel of the unity and victory of the people’s freedom forces against the conservative forces of the region, whose vocabulary considers women as slaves, life without guidance and freedom. That’s why the occupying and genocidal states of Iran and Turkey attacked the people and guerrillas with their last possibilities and brutally in the name of all conservatives.
As women and young people, we call on Kurdish, Persian, Azeri, Baluch, Arab and Gilak women and young people to take historical revenge from the invaders and win the revolution of women’s freedom, organize their national and class hostility and become more organized. In this way, we will expand the fields of struggle. In order to protect and maintain the revolution in the streets, we must expand the area of struggle in the mountains and strengthen the guerrilla forces as an organizational force of women and youth.
