NEWS CENTER – Gerîla TV has released footage of a guerrilla action in the Girê Amediyê resistance area. The recordings show how helicopters belonging to the Turkish occupying state are being fired at and the helicopter then burns to death as a result of the massive fire.
The press center of the HPG explained the action:
“On September 4, at 11:50 p.m., helicopter movements occurred in the Girê Amediye resistance area in Metîna. A Skorsky helicopter that wanted to drop soldiers in the resistance area was targeted and hit by our mobile units. A fire broke out on this helicopter, which suffered heavy blows from our units. Since the helicopter could no longer rise, it stayed where it was and burned to death.”
