BEHDİNAN – HPG Press Center statement stated the following:
“The historical resistance of the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla has foiled the plans of the occupying Turkish state. The invading Turkish army has systematically developed an attack concept based on the use of chemical weapons and banned bombs in order to get the desired result. Despite the fact that the Turkish army’s use of chemical weapons and banned bombs has been documented many times by our forces, and that our people and their friends keep it on the agenda, the silence of international organizations encourages the invading Turkish state and shows that war crimes are supported. The invading Turkish army continued to commit war crimes by bombing war positions 6 times with banned bombs and 11 times with chemical weapons on 20 November. Also Areas of Resistance; It was bombed twice by warplanes, 34 times by attack helicopters, and dozens of times with howitzers, mortars, tanks and heavy weapons.
Continuing its resistance against these attacks, the Kurdistan Freedom Guerrilla continues its actions. As a result of the actions carried out by our forces, 5 invaders were punished.
The details of the actions taken and the attacks made are as follows;
In the Zap region as part of the Bazên Zagrosê Revolutionary Campaign;
- At 06:30 and 09:30 on 20 November, the invaders in the Martyr Adil Resistance Area in Çemço were targeted twice by our mobile teams with medium automatic weapons. It has been clarified that 3 invaders were punished in the effective hits of our forces.
- On November 20, at 11:00, the invaders in the Sîda Resistance Area were hit with heavy weapons by our mobile teams.
- On November 20, at 16:50, the invaders in the Çemço Resistance Area were shot by our YJA Star moving teams with an assassination tactic and 1 invader was punished.
Within the framework of the Cenga Xabûre Martyr War Maraş Revolutionary Campaign;
- On November 20, at 16:00, the invaders in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were shot by our mobile teams with an assassination tactic and 1 invader was punished.
- Skorsky helicopters that wanted to land on the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area at 20:15 on 20 November were targeted by our mobile teams. After the hits of our forces, the helicopters had to leave the area.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army with banned bombs and chemical weapons;
- On 20 November, the Martyr Cekdar battle positions in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were bombed 4 times, and the Martyr Serxwebûn battle positions in the Çemço Resistance Area were bombed twice with banned bombs.
- On November 20, at 16:20, the Martyr Çekdar battle positions in the Girê Cûdî Resistance Area were bombed once with chemical weapons. It was determined that the chemical weapon used was yellow in color.
- Between 09:00 and 18:00 on 20 November, the Martyr Felat battle positions in the Sîda Resistance Area were bombed 10 times with chemical weapons.
The attacks carried out by the invading Turkish army;
- On 20 November, the Goşînê area of Xakurkê was bombed twice by warplanes.
- On 20 November, Saca, Çemço, Kurojahro, Girê Amediyê and Girê Cûdî Resistance Areas were bombed 34 times with attack helicopters.
- On 20 November, Saca, Sîda, Çemço, Girê FM, Girê Cûdî and Girê Amediyê Resistance Areas were bombed dozens of times with howitzers, mortars, tanks and heavy weapons.
- On 20 November, the invading Turkish army tried to destroy the Martyr Serxwebûn battle positions in the Çemço Resistance Area with scoops and bulldozers.”
