HAMBURG – The young women and young people from TekoJIN and TCŞ Hamburg used the football game on November 8th in Hamburg to illustrate their own connection with the resistance of the Kurds worldwide and in Kurdistan.
Large posters/banners with the inscriptions “JIN JÎYAN AZADΔ, “STOP THE USE OF CHEMICAL WEAPONS IN KURDISTAN” and “#NOFLYZONE4ROJAVA” attracted a lot of attention during the half-time break. The flags of the Labor Party and party leader Abdullah Öcalan (who has been in solitary confinement for 23 years as a result of an international conspiracy) were hoisted.
The youth show solidarity with the oppressed peoples of Rojhilat (East) and made it clear that they are aware that the struggle for women’s liberation is deeply rooted in the struggle of the guerrillas. For this reason, the young people also showed solidarity with the resistance of the guerrillas, especially in Başur (southern) Kurdistan, in the area where the fascist government of Turkey has been proven to carry out poison gas attacks.
During the action, the young women and youth from TekoJIN and TCŞ made it clear that it is the duty of every freedom-loving and democratic person to draw attention to these human rights violations and explained that the Kurdish youth know their duty and the situation, against everyone attention to the silence of the mass media.
In conclusion, the young women and youth from TekoJIN and TCŞ stated:
“To become the voice of those who are not heard. Remembering is acting, resistance is living. Werin Cenga Azadiyê!”
